March 13, 20188 yr So much for English sides catching up with the rest again. Its the last 16 and 2 are already out.
March 13, 20188 yr And the two remaining could quiet easily win the whole thing. City the favourites, and Liverpool on their day can beat anyone. Edited March 13, 20188 yr by Famous CFC
March 13, 20188 yr I normally switch off after matches but tonight I've left BT on. Christ listening to Ferdinand, Scholes, & Gerrard is painful. They're just rambling with no semblance of a coherent thought between them. Gerrard in particular. He starts off saying United need 3 or 4 more players to compete in Europe, and then puts tonight down as being an off night. Oh and the first leg was an off night too. Earlier he was saying United were showing too much repsect to Sevilla with their defensive approach, and then he accuses them of being disrespectful to them and underestimating them. I think I'll stick to just turning them off in future.

March 13, 20188 yr Oh my days !!!! This was unbelievable !!!! Fantastico !!! Ben Yedder with the brace !!! In front of Ferguson !!! I said it before: Tottenham will choke, they bottled it (although they made me doubt for quite a bit) ! Manu had it coming with their sh*tty performances ... Unbelievable !!! At least these w**kners would have done worse than us if we don't go through tommorrow !!! But if we win tommorrow... Oh my !!!
March 13, 20188 yr Here's the full clip, I think he meant to come across more like "this loss isn't the biggest deal as I knocked Man Utd out before, these things happen in the CL." Up to man u fans to take offense I suppose Edited March 13, 20188 yr by boomerdog

March 14, 20188 yr The style of play that Jose, conte, allegri, and others play....the catenaccio style is a dying style. It's so infuriating to watch. you don't play beautiful football, and if you aren't getting results you will be forced out because everyone will moan at you. It has its place in the game in certain situations, but your main strategy being to play the game in your own half and absorb pressure with the type of players you have...it's just so frustrating. And I hate manu, I'm happy they lost to the Seville side. If I were Sanchez I'd be pissed the hell off I went there and am asked to defend so much because my midfielders are 100% of the time sitting as shields in front on the back four and there is acres of space in the middle third.

True. The dying style which won the league last year.

March 14, 20188 yr So many United fans that deny they're lightyears behind City, the delusion is hilarious. They keep pointing out that they're above Chelsea, Liverpool & Spurs. Well done you've spent half a billion in 3 transfer windows, you've made 3 of the most expensive Premier League signings in the past 4 years in Di Maria, Lukaku & Pogba and neither of them has looked the price tag. Di Maria was a bigger flop than Torres. Yeah sure Chelsea are outside the top 4 but I have no really bad qualms about it, we can comeback, we've been bipolar for the past 4 seasons, we hit ground zero then we are on top of the world the next season. United have done f**k all since Fergie left considering the money they've spent and Jose has not got that side anywhere near City's dominance. I'm not just strawmanning an argument for the sake of a post, go on social media and look how deluded their fanbase is about the current situation. It's because they haven't gotten enough stick despite being utter garbage. You have the Neville brothers that excuse all their failings all the time, telling everyone that Jose is doing a good job with what he has, meanwhile Conte is in a complete crisis at Chelsea, the man who already has a Premier League title wrapped up. Seriously no jokes here, we are terrible at the moment, like really BAD. So many players out of form, missing key players in key areas, yet we went to Old Trafford and should have won the game. United should be embarrassed by that alone, I do not fear this United team one bit, if we get them in the F.A. Cup I fancy our chances.
