There is no way we can start the season with that midfield. One ball through our midfield and we are exposed. It will just be like 2015 / 16 if we do.

Our defence is sh*t and we lack creativity up front.

We are playing totally sh*t, the league starts in 2 weeks this isn't our first game playing all our youth, last game senior players...week before shield, this isn't good enough, the rhetoric it's only pre-season is all well and good, but it's a strong team just before the start of the season....conte wont be happy

we look as if we went in at half-time had a conversation like "what's the point when the ref is as crap as that" and then went back out to just jog through the second half 

it is pre-season, it's not important we might as well try something a bit different now 

Do we have offside from throw ins? These Asian refs don’t know the rules.

No point conceding defeat because of preseason and I won't do that. They have to learn from this and go into the season stronger. I would like to see more youth though it's preseason and we're 2 down, just give em a go.

Yes I was confused as well 

This is always the risk when you don't play many games in pre season and start later than others. It gives us less time to work on things and less time to get up to speed with other teams.

Attacking-wise I'm not too concerned, we are missing players, and Morata is out of position (for some reason), but defensievly we do look a bit poor. There is a massive difference between winning the PL and winning the CL, and if we want to compete with the very best in the world, I think we need 2 new fullbacks.

Watching us today is like watching us in 2015/16, way too open and exposed. At least it's only pre season, we certainly can't play that way in the Community Shield and the start of the season.
