Kante/Cesc is for the bottom half teams parking the bus, or plan B when chasing the game. I think Conte has figured that out by now, he probably just want to be sure in the pre-season, no real lose there. We started pre-season pretty late, not surprised we aren't in form right now. It's a long season, nothing could be won in pre-season.

Musonda is the reason we pegged one back - arguably ...

I don't think so. We know we need a player like Matic in there next to Kante, but it needs to be a better player than Matic. Hopefully Bakayoko is that player.
