Willian continues his woeful start to the season. He’s been awful pretty much every time he’s played this season. Needs a few weeks on the sidelines if you ask me. 

Michy B offers nothing outside the area. He can’t hold the ball up for toffee and his positioning is awful. He barely gets any touches because he doesn’t make himself available.

Luiz has been poor. Sloppy passing, diving into tackles, poor positioning. Christensen must be pushing for his starting place now. 

I’d be looking to get Pedro on, unlike Willian he’s going to offer a goal threat and make runs in behind their defence. 

Either Contes lost the plot or the players just don't give a f**k either way this performance is totally unacceptable utter dog sh*te!!!

The only certain thing going int this game was Palace would score against us and make it a contest but I can't say we have done ourselves any favours. Certain players below par that shouldn't be getting starts.

We've played as well as we've been let. 

Palace excellent in the first half but we all knew there would be a reaction after Woy had a few asolid weeks on the training ground.

There is a lot of work to do this half. Pedro needs to be on ASAP.

A few thoughts....

1. The whole team has been pants. Only Hazard and maybe Bakayoko come out with any credit. Bit uncomfortable with the piling on one or two players when everyone deserves the blame here.

2. It's all well and good to say we shouldn't have started Luiz, Willian, etc. But they are good players having horrible games. If you had some super secret foresight I don't, maybe you should be in football management not posting on a Chelsea forum.

3. I'm a little worried that in general teams are starting to figure us out tactically and things that worked last season aren't going to get the same results this season. I wish I knew the answer, but it looks as if last season was a bit of anomaly.

willian is a waste of a player rather see charle although I don't think he is a first team player will offer more than willian at the moment, petty he was a spoiled little sh*t on social media giving him a game now may look like conceding to his moaning and thats the only reason I see him not coming on because this game is calling out for him

I think the players have lost interest. The loss to City took them out of it mentally evidently.

This could finish 4-1 Palace.

no way we score 2 goals in the second half without conceding another .a  draw the best we can hope for.

We stink. Willian and Bad(man) attitudes are just scandalous. They are not even trying. Dave and Cesc delivered some very good long passes and our "striker"was sleeping. 

If only Charly hadn't mouthed off on social media he might actually get his chance with Willian being so dire and Pedro presumably not 100%?

 

Urgh what a crock of sh*te.

There are no excuses for losing this match. None at all.

Palace simply want it more than our players they seem to be going through the motions, michy simply isn't a starter it's been proven, Morata would have changed this game

Don't remember much of Drogba outpacing players and running down the wings.

Other than willian for pedro and rudiger for cahill who? don't see much wrong with his selection tbh 

I know the players are poor and don't have much of an excuse regarding their performance but is anyone else starting to worry slightly about Conte's team selection? How Cahill and Willian start I don't know. Thought he would have learnt his lesson with team selection after the Arsenal game!

We're losing to a team that is going to be relegated with arguably the worst record ever ... 

Azpilicueta has been dreadful.

Our performance today is reminiscent of a few years back, do the players look bothered? Not in my opinion. Palace want it more.

If we lose this it will be the most embarrassing match since 0-1 with QPR in 2012.

I have to agree. I understand that some times you want to play a player into form, but when there are so many players out of form and you have a few on the bench that are in form......you just have to go with the in form players. You play the out of form players and you end up with problems like we are having today.

Cahill's probably been our only defender who hasn't been absolute pants

One thing that really pisses me off is that the whole bunch of people will now start the same boring sh*t - it is a wake up call.  How many f**king wake up calls do we need?
