£40m - £50m. He's not worth it.

I would love Mahrez at Chelsea, we should loan out Boga to a PL team and sign Mahrez.

Definitely worth 40m in todays market given that Sigurdsson just got sold for 45m

Also Mahrez is only 26 and in the prime of his career, Willian and Pedro are both 30.

mahrez is the type of player who performs better when surrounded by better players. Imagine the Mahrez of 2 seasons ago and Hazard on opposite wings with Morata in the middle? It would be a f**king dream! His ceiling is also a lot higher than Pedro and Willian

They way the ball stuck to his left peg at times in Leicesters title winning season reminded me of Messi, but last year he dropped back down a level. Not so sure he will reach those heights again even with us.

We could do much  worse, but if he joined he wouldn't be an immediate starter by any means - I would still prefer Pedro and Hazard.

Bit underwhelmed at the prospect of signing him, I don't think he's better then any of Hazard, Pedro or Willian.

I think he's a great player when he's on it.  He has a more attacking threat than both Pedro and Willian both in shooting and crossing, but I would worry about his work rate/tracking back.  I can't image him and Hazard in the same team , well only vs the very bottom sides.  We do need more attacking options though, I think we relay on Hazard too much.

Depends on price...Roma were quoted €45m by Leicester which is big money for a wantaway player...Roma offered €35m plus add-ons which was turned down...personally I'd like to give Mousanda and Boga a chance...

Ladbrokes are ducking under at 2-1 but he's still 11-10 on to stay at Leicester. Reading between the lines, it seems the bookmakers reckon that if he's going anywhere, it will be Chelsea. I'd be delighted if he came, he's got pace and trickery which we want.

Yeah I think Leicester are holding out for £40m.  In today's market £40m isn't that much for a squad player (actually incredible to think that's the case now). But I'm with you I like Boga in particular, he seems like an old fashioned winger when he's come on in preseason.  Just wants the ball and wants to beat defenders when he has it.

He's better than Willian and Pedro for our team right now. 

I mentioned my shock a couple of weeks ago that we were seemingly going to allow him to go to Roma for what is today a reasonable fee.

A huge plus for me is that he's wanted a move all summer now but has acted AND PLAYED like a complete professional in both of Leicester's games, take note the likes of Sanchez, van Dijk, Coutinho and Sigurdsson.

Worth a punt, would prefer him to Candreva if we're going for a winger.

Agree to disagree then, considering he adds a playmaking quality to our attack and being this late in the window, 40m is good enough. It would be amazing if we secured 30m for him when he was quoted 50m last year. 

I'd rather we spend 40m on a creative attacker that wants to leave than gamble it on someone like Ox who might not even leave Arsenal.

If we bought him that would be the last three PFA Player of the Years on the books.

I would say attacking mids and central defenders, we are pretty good as we stand. I have a funny feeling we may see costa in a Chelsea shirt again befor the end of the year. Really need some back up in center mid and at wingback

 

that said I actually do think he is a quality player (more so then others on here it would seem) and would suit the style conte wants to play. If conte doesn't rate the younger lot then why not
