Didn't have a good feeling about him but certainly showed some qualities last night, still need to see him vs a big team to get a true idea but so far so good 

The goal was probably a freak, but he got pace to burn. Even with the game completely wrapped up, he still chase after every ball, great attitude.

This guy will turn into a another Star find like Alonso

Very good performance last night created a lot of chances and found himself in some scoring opportunities aswell. Maybe the start against qarabag has given him the confidence to be more comfortable in the squad

Very fast, has a great cross.

Wasn't as convincing on the defensive end, but it's still early days.

I’m absolutely baffled I hadn’t heard about him before we signed him. I don’t follow serie A - though probably will More closely this season - but he looks exactly like the type of player we needed. 

Defensively the guy looks shaky and he gives the ball away far too easily offensively but hopefully he can improve on both fronts. Moses is far better defensively, but Zappa has a bit more going forward. Moses is still first choice for me.

Agreed. Everyone on this forum keeps saying how good his crosses are and its perfect for Morata. I thought against Qarabag he miss-hit most of his balls into the box. One of his crosses ended up in the back of the net and the rest nearly went out for a throwing. 

On recent showings, I agree. His videos and stats alluded otherwise. Is it a blip or is an adjusting period needed? Time will tell. 

Seemed a little more interested in shooting than crossing. Batshuayi didn't enjoy the service I'm pretty sure.

Think he'll be another cult hero right back ala Belletti...

He appeared very good at running in from behind. There were a couple of times Fabregas was able to pick him out 

 

Regarding the goal, may have been a fluke but there's not many times you see a player basically run from one end of the pitch to the other with the ball. Could be a great attacking outlet on the counter

Some of you really need to give the guys time to settle in jeez some fans these days have zero patience

Against Qarabag he was good, good runs, lot of quickly, good start at the Bridge it's good for his confidence. But i waiting to see him vs a good team as well. Anyway it was good way to begin with us, score at the bridge is very perfect for his confidence. The competition between him and Victor Moses will be hard, and it's good for the team. 

 

I wait again of see him for to can judge him, because Nottingham wasn't really opponent hard...

Good game from him last night, gets up and down very well. Pleasantly surprised. Can see him displacing Moses.

I want to see more of this guy.
