No, are you for real? All that RM have realised is his quality(or the absence of it). they don't care about future, they don't send on loan just for the prospect. RM as a club lives for the present and the way they threw him away, him: 1) Spanish; 2) from the academy; 3) the famous player of the fans - shows us how they rated him. Also, about the minutes... from what I remember, he had to fight for his place with... Llorente, Mandzukic, old tevez, Benzema... not impressive list at all.

Stop defending him, it's pointless. He is a flop till he proves otherwise. this is just a damn fact, no matter how good you are at twisting.

So far, Morata has made 54 goals in entire career at top divisions (LaLiga, EPL & Serie A) and he's about to become 26-year-old in one month.

For comparision, Benzema has made 56 Champions League goals alone.

I honestly have no idea what point you're trying to make here. The comparison is completely meaningless.

This thread has some great examples on how not to use statistics.

How many Premier league goals has Benzema scored?

Unfortunately, I can't edit my previous post but I want clarify that Morata's 54 goals came from all comps since playing with RM's 1st team, Juve & Chelsea

Which is actually even worse lol.

Speaks quite a lot about what Morata has done in his career so far

Most players at his age (or younger) are better & accomplished way more than Morata.

As many as Messi, Lewandowski, Higuain, Cavani, Griezmann etc.

Actually that was pretty clear and doesn't make any difference.

Incidentally, did you know that more people are killed by falling coconuts than by shark attacks? Does that make coconuts more dangerous than sharks?

That would be none,  then

And yet, all of these names were far superior players when they're in the same age as Morata.

Football exists outside of Premier League.

In Diego Costa's second full season with Chelsea he scored 16 Goals in 39 Starts in All Competitions

Alvaro Morata in his first full season had 15 goals in 30 starts in all competitions.

Looks like an upgrade doesn't it?

Obviously, that's cherry picking stats. I'm not making any excuses for Morata. He needs to improve, and I like what I have seen so far this season under Sarri. What I do get tired of is the waxing poetic of Diego Costa and his contributions and the denial of how schizophrenic he actually was at the Club. I was ready for him to move on, and obviously by his actions, he was more than ready.

I liken the reminiscing of Diego Costa to dating a scorching hot girl. Years down the line, we remember mostly how hot she was, and you find yourself asking, "She was so hot why did we break up?"

Because she made me miserable you idiot.

Sometimes we forget that part.

The best of Diego Costa was wonderful. The worst of Diego Costa each season made Chelsea virtually unwatchable.

Did you know that a woodpeckers tongue is a 1/3 of its entire body length and is wrapped round its brain when not in use.

Actually that was pretty clear and doesn't make any difference.

Using the statistics you provided then yes coconuts are more of a danger to human life than sharks :/

Did you know the flamingo can only eat when its head is upside down.

Did you know if you buy a lottery ticket one hour before the draw you have more chance of dying before the draw than actually winning it.

Okay guys cut it out with this, this thread is about Alvaro Morata and there is no reason for you all to go so off topic with random posts about coconuts sharks and etc. Lets all talk about how we can improve this season with Alvaro Morata and how the chills you get when listening to music are caused by the release of dopamine which is a neurotransmitter which causes pleasure

Morata has scored 74 goals for Chelsea, Juventus and Real Madrid actually. and has done it whilst playing only 10,962 minutes of football, which is the equivalent to 121 games, and also has 37 assists in that time so in total has 111 G/A in 10,962 minutes in his career which works out as him averaging a goal or assist every 98.7 minutes. Pretty good if you ask me.

Could be argued that he was subbed on at the end of games against tired legs to make his return much easier because he wasn't trusted to start games and lead the line.

Stats and all that, ay.

It could but that myth could easily be debunked.

Yes, that does make them more dangerous in reality.

You just perceive sharks to be more dangerous because they are scarier.  Mosquitoes are more dangerous than both combined I suspect. That a mosquitoes is a millionth the size of a shark and more easily killed than a shark doesn't negate the fact that mosquitoes on the whole are more dangerous to humans than sharks, and so too are coconuts.

Machiavelli had a good bit about perception often being more important than reality.

Mosquitoes are dangerous? Because some varieties carry malaria, I suppose. But preventative steps can be taken, and more people survive malaria than a shark attack, I suspect. Only female mosquitoes suck blood, so 50% of all mosquitoes must be harmless.
