Rashford made his debut like 4/5 months after Martial did, and while the Frenchman has been underwhelming of late the elite talent and potential is obvious, Rashford's ceiling in my opinion is a solid and unspectacular system player, basically a striker version of Oscar.

transfer season hasn't even really begun and we've already probably lost out on Martial to Tottenham. Looks like another poor window coming up with last minute panic buys and a loan army to increase even higher.

JJP I don't think we lost out on Martial yet... Sky Transfer Center reported that Man United have no interest in a swap deal for Alderweireld. News aside my take on it is that Man United know that they have ABSOLUTLEY NO CHANCE of getting Willian if Martial is not going the other way. Especially now that Conte is leaving, Willian shouldn't have too much of an interest in leaving Chelsea. And to put it logically from Man United's perspective, Tottenham have to sell Alderweireld for 40M or so regardless if they get Martial or not...but there's no way Chelsea would sell Willian if Martial isn't involved. So that gives us the much better hand of cards...now its just making sure we play the game right and get our target.

I would love to have him here, but I just have a feeling (for some reason, not sure why) that it won’t happen.

I hope we get this guy. He is that type of player that Jose kills with his boring defensive-like football, but actually he's got pretty decent feats - his dribble skills are amazing, he's calm, stone cold killer character that won't make any troubles and he also has great finishing in front of a defender in the right top corner - something that Hazard is not able to receive. And he is 22. If we can make a deal Willian for him, this is going to be huge.

I know it won't happen but if Morata moves, I'd take Martial to be his replacement. He'd probably play better for us than at Utd.

A favour would be giving rivals Hazard, Azpi or Kante. Giving them past their prime versions of Mata and Matic for inflated money suits me down to the ground.

Shame Woodward wasn't around in 2011, we could have palmed Anelka, Malouda and Kalou off to United and rebuilt the side with the money.

NiiNii seems to think we’ve already held talks and that this is realistic.  Not really sure where he’s getting his info from and a lot seems to be recycled information.

That’s the thing—it’s hard to say how relevant he is.  He’s a YouTuber, Blue Lions TV I believe it’s called.  Claims to have sources within the club or very close to the club.  I didn’t even know who he was until a couple months back when @enigma posted one of his videos, so I’ve been watching some of his stuff since then.  Not sure how he gets his info, but he comes off as a genuine guy.

And how many times has he predicted the manager situation would be sorted imminently? 

Can't see him going to Spurs. With teams like Juventus and Chelsea lining up with winning pedigree, you just don't go to serial flops that are Spurs.

To play where exactly? He's not benching Kane and Son seems better on the left. 

RIP Mourinho raised a solid point too, going from a team that can win something to a team that wins nothing feels like a downgrade for him.

I get your point......but I still doubt they would sell Matic to us......he has given them more stability. And Mata were still well capable when we sold him.

I thought you quoted me, but you just mentioned me haha. Yeah, I don't know entirely about his track record, but he had his supposed "source" on the channel a week or two ago. The guy didn't show his face, but he is a french guy who is involved with some players who has dealt with Chelsea, and apparently still does. I am not gonna say that NiNiFC is 100% accurate, but over the last few weeks he has been getting news out a day or quite a few hours before any other source has confirmed pretty much the same or similar. Maybe it's coincidence, I don't know, but he has two supposed "in the knows" (including the French guy).

He also says that he cannot guarantee everything as football behind the scenes changes so quickly, sometimes within a couple of hours or an hour, it's impossible to predict anything 100%. I do think people should follow him and come to their own conclusions, but from what I have watched of him, I do believe he may actually be telling the truth about his sources and info. I would like to think I am a pretty good judge of character, and having followed his channel for a couple months, he comes across as a pretty genuine guy.
