Agree with that but not too sure about the defending set pieces part. He wins 3.1 aerials per game, compared to Luiz who wins 2.3 per game. Could the weakness be down to the full back playing next to him? Digne is brilliant going forward but very suspect defensively. 

Interesting stat that alludes to what you said about their form improving; in the last 8 games he has a whoscored average of 7.3 which is very remarkable. David Luiz has a whoscored average of 6.72 in the same period. One is 32 and the other is way off his peak at 24. You speak to any Everton fans and he is a must buy for them ahead of Gomez.

Unless Everton stick in a ridiculous offer of £60m+, we shouldn’t even entertain a sale.
