Massive result for us today. Spurs really are doing their best to bottle this. It’s absolutely essential we get 3 points tomorrow. It would put massive pressure on arsenal ahead of the afternoon kick off. It would also pile pressure on spurs who have an in form Everton on the final day!

Bye bye Cardiff. Just did not quite have enough for the top flight.

Does it matter though? We might not be able to buy players but I'm pretty sure every fan in the world would prefer their team getting to champions league. And as others have mentioned the club will make more profit. I'll also add that people would be more likely to join us whenever we can buy players again if we qualify this season and qualify again next season (Since there would be a sign of consistency in getting to Europe). There is also the hope of convincing hazard to stay if we qualify to champions league.

Not qualifying to champions league while also not being able to buy players IMO is worse.

The form of the top 4 chasing teams is the worst I have seen at this stage of the season. Us and Tottenham are playing like mid table teams and United and Arsenal are playing like teams in the relegation spots.

Three of the four are still rebuilding following manager changes, no excuses for Spurs though. 

We're basically nailed on to drop points tomorrow now aren't we?

wouldn't it be great if newcastle took something off the scouse tonight, really can not see it though as newcastle have squat to play for and benitez is basically a scouser
