Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2018/2019

Eton Blue at the Chelsea Megastore

Next season will be immense. West ham have Pellegrini and making good signings. Wolves are a quality team. Fulham also looking like they will be a challenge. Then you have the top 6 strengthening. Everton will have a new coach. Bournemouth will surely make more signings. The league next season will genuinely be the first time in a long while that it will be a true test.

West Ham have had a busy summer in the transfer window last year.

I think the dildo brother got a bit shaken by the confrontations at the London Stadium last season are are hoping to please the bubble blowing pikies.

Bought in Fabianski, a new centre back Diop (know nothing about him), Jack Wheelchair, Felipe Anderson and the Ukrainian Andy Carroll, Andriy Yarmolenko. They've spent about £80m without having sold anyone yet so maybe, just maybe they can avoid a relegation battle this season.

When you look at what other teams in the league have been doing transfer wise so far you can't help but think things are going to pick up a bit over the next couple of weeks.

City have signed Mahrez but that's it so far, after missing out on Jorginho (ha ha ha) you've got to think they're going to be looking to throw some money at their midfield, other than that not sure where they'll invest... Another left back maybe to provide better cover for Mendy?

United have bought Fred and a new right back Dalot, can't help thinking that maybe they'll be in the market for an attacker, especially if Martial does push for a move.

Spurs are being very Spursy by not buying anyone yet, no doubt Levy waiting until the last minute to see what ends up in the bargain bin and checking to see if he has any money off coupons he can use. You've got think, if Spurs aren't attracting a big name signing now, when are they ever going to do it?

Liverpool's bought in Keita and Fabinho so not sure what that means for Henderson and apparently Wijnaldum is likely to leave. Still think they need a left back and a goalkeeper, being linked with Roma's Allison along with us.

Arsenal, typically, buying mid range priced players. Not bought anyone that makes you really stand up and take notice yet.

Everton haven't bought anyone yet, be interesting to see how much they invest this year... Spent big last year and got themselves into a bit of a mess, they looked unbalanced and in need of some width... Rooney's gone already so I reckon Sigurdsson might get to play a lot more centrally now.

Leicester's got £60m burning a hole in their back pocket from the Mahrez sale... They've bought in James Maddison from Norwich who apparently had an impressive year last season. Johnny Evans looks good signing with Wes Morgan past his best now. Be interesting to see if they can hold onto Harry Maguire although I'm not sure anyone from the top six will be interested so a move elsewhere would surely be a sideways step.

Going to be interesting to see how the newly promoted clubs get on. Wolves were the sugar daddies of the lower leagues and were apparently comfortably the best team in the Championship. Fulham making a bit of a statement with the Seri signing... Cardiff can f**k off because Neil Warnock is a twat and I didn't want him back in the Premier League and their owner can do one as well after the whole changing their kit to red fiasco.

Think a lot of Utd fans will likely go for replica shirts, I can't see most paying that amount.

The market for secondhand replica shirts is huge now. So many shirts about, so much nostalgia attached to each one, they pay silly money for some of them, i mean multiple hundreds.

That would probably be the amount for the kit the players wear; the "normal" supporters shirt is cheaper (read: less expensive). CFC have the same system.

That’s exactly it but the ‘stadium shirt’ I think they call it is still £60+.

I finally managed to get hold of last seasons 3rd shirt on the cheap but it was still  over £30 with delivery :JC_doubledown:

I used to buy the previous seasons shorts for just chilling around the house/garden in but even they are over £20!

Perhaps Arsenal did the clever thing, they learnt from Wilshire.

Cazorla was a weird one, I wondered if he was about to lose a foot going by the description of his condition.

I thought Cazorla was in the Croatia squad this WC? He must have done some playing to justify his selection? Or do the Croations simply not have enough options?

Anyway, I totally forgot about his existence till this summer

Not good news for Oxlade-Chamberlain though. Must be horrible to be out for such a long time.

Isn't Cazorla Spanish?

I know more than I should about footballer's nationalities. [emoji28]

I think you may have subconsciously been thinking about Eduardo.

Arsenal, Injury prone and Croatian.

Oh could very well be, I wasn't prepared to pay too much attention to Arsenal players [emoji3]

Nearly 200m spent at Liverpool once Allison finishes his medical.

Klopp has no excuses whatsoever to challenge for the title. I hate saying this and I know I'm going to get a lot of hate but I do have a feeling Liverpool might win it this year. They've made some fantastic signings and improvements. I can't see United winning the league, City should but it's rare a team wins 2 in a row in this current generation, the momentum in the PL is huge and so competitive.

You don't get hate for saying they "might" win it, mate (even though we both know they will cack it up).

You'd get true hatred for saying you wanted them to win it,  but you're not as stupid or as nasty as to say something like that.
