You begin by at least trying for the best. Things might not end up being perfectly that way, but nonetheless.

And it's not over-the-top optimism to sell two players and buy two players in the summer window.

We don't spend the way we used to, but it is doable without playing FM.

None of the points they made are unrealistic though

There's no top Strikers in Europe right now . Icardi said times and times that he will stay at Inter.

For Hazard , it's his personal decision, even if we offer him the world he wants to play for Madrid.

its only been 4 months since Sarri has been appointed and we have not lost a single match yet !

People forget that Pep's first year wasn't pretty either , it takes time to implement that kind of system especially with past managers we had ,its a drastic change.

A lot of players are gonna leave at the end of the season (zouma , Fabregas, giroud , Moses etc...)  Sarri will have his type of players so it only can get better.

At the beginning of the year all we wanted was a top four finish and attacking football,we have both and we are still in it and we knockout Liverpool out of the Carabao cup! Every team goes thru tough patches and we seem to be in one but we are not loosing games.

In essence, I agree with what you say, but my original arguments still stand.

LEts hope your right.......but I for one cant see us backing Sarri the way we should. Are the Club ballsy enough to get rid of the less that good players and bring in quality? We need a quality CB, a quality AM, 2 new wingers and a striker. When pigs fly.

Sell Kante to PSG for loads of cash. Get an offensive midfielder in his place.

Sell Morata to whoever is foolish enough to bet on him.

Buy a proper striker for God's sake.

Tie Hazard to a long term deal.

We will be good to go for next season.

Kante back in his proper position! Sell Jorghino and send back the utterly useless Kovavcic. Then buy two midfielders who can actually cross the halfway line and do something.

Third in the league behind the two teams that impressed the most last year.

Still unbeaten and new record for longest unbeaten run at the start of a job.

Second most goals scored in the league behind only the mighty City.

Third best defensive record in the league.

Talk about knee jerk reaction. We've just drawn to a team that sat with 10 men behind the ball but we had plenty of good chances. It ain't Sarri's fault the players didn't finish them.

2nd most chances created, 2nd most shots, 2nd most shots on target. pretty impressive when we don't create chances apparently.

Games like today are just a reminder of what we all knew when the season started. We don't have a top level striker who can help us to mount a serious PL challenge. I expect there will be plenty more games this season like today where we may nick a goal or have to rely on some Hazard brilliance to secure all 3 points but without better striker options than we currently have, it's going to be hard to go all the way.

This all the way.

Everton came here with a good plan to defend and counter attack and it worked. Plus we were troubled by their physicality and pace.  Make no mistake that we had enough possession, but when it comes to bringing on a game changer we had no answer. almost All our players looked a step slower and not completely in sync. Yes Kante had a bad game and so did Kovacic - but keep in mind that it is their grittiness and hardwork that allows Jorginho to play in his role without being a dfensive liability.  Also games like this when Willian and Morata go missing - we are essentially a one man army in attack.

Without a squad investment or us finding hidden gems not much can happen. That is the first place to start.

:JC_doubleup: that we all agree with, but who is calling the shots? Sari needs to have control over the transfers in and out. Or we just keep on going with the mystery dealer, who remains a ghost with no explanation or reason.

All i know is - this is not Emenalos fault

United lost. Arsenal dropped points at home. That point not too bad in the end when you see the table. We were never going to realistically compete with City and top 4 is our main target so I am content now. Also, still unbeaten!

+1

today I believe we all see what Don Maurizio has been saying - Chelsea isn't there yet - the only concern I have w/ CFC ATM, is the fact there is only Plan A - we haven't seen Don Maurizio change his tactics to grab a 'W'
