Trouble with the false 9 is that no one naturally gets drawn into the penalty area.

Throw in that neither of Kante or Kovacic instinctively make runs into the box either and when the ball gets out wide there’s nothing to aim at.

We have two genuine world clas players and the best we can come up with is to play them both out of position. Just think about that for a moment
