Christian Pulisic - Official

Featured Replies

Chelsea are open to letting Christian Pulisic leave on loan. Told Gregg Berhalter has also advised him to get regular game time. Pulisic is an automatic starter for #USMNT but told Berhalter wants him playing more regularly. As @AndyMitten reports, #MUFC interested. #NUFC, too.

But as reported back in June, I am still told Pulisic is tempted by Serie A should the option present itself. Juventus have expressed some interest but it remains to be seen whether they advance it. Pulisic has spoken to Weston McKennie and would be prepared to move.

We shouldn’t be loaning him out - especially with 2 years left on his deal.

Papers saying he can be loaned only if he signs a new deal which makes sense

So, after Man U takes CP off your hands I would expect the general sentiment here to be euphoria. Remember, you hate Pulisic, think he sucks, is not PL level, and is only here to sell merchandise and Chelsea to Americans. Don't ever forget that sentiment, those thoughts, those feelings. Ever.

Don't worry mate.  Doesn't look like you're going to be short of that sentiment wherever Puli goes.

I actually worry for Pulisic if he goe to United, with the current state of the team, the unrest and the anti glazers sentiment. People can see through this signing and if Pulisic performs like well typical Pulisic I think he'll attract a lot of undeserved backlash and blame.

Just don't want to hear the bitching and complaining from this Chelsea base that hate Pulisic, think he sucks, but don't want him to play for another PL team. Ultimate pussy mentality. And never call me your mate. You and I aren't friends.

I'll weep for you every time your next club gets battered with Pulisic on the bench mate.

If it's any consolation I've spoken to about 15 Blues in real life today about the links and none of us want to loan Pulisic to United. It doesn't make any sense.

We all want to Sell him to United.

I agree that it probably makes sense for CFC to sell, and not loan. At the same time, I just don't see CP signing an extension just to be loaned out.

It might requires CFC to take a significant loss on the sell, AND Pulisic taking a sizable pay cut in order for a permanent move to happen. It both of these variables can happen, he'll have a few more suitors. Not many clubs want to pay the transfer fee and his full wages as it stands right now.

We should let him go and do so with a degree of integrity. We (and by that I mean the club) don't believe he is good enough for what our long term ambitions are (which I agree with) so we shouldn't worry about where he goes to. Get a fair price and let him rebuild his career wherever he ends up.

Seems a decent enough bloke with the right mentality. Just not technically a great footballer. Why be c**ts and insist on loans so he has no long term stability?

Nah... you are the one dude on here obsessed with him, like Democrats with Trump. You are the one pathetic imp on here that will watch whichever team CP ends up on just so you can root against him. There are some cool people on here - and then there is you. Makes me happy to be an American, knowing you and you alone suffer with such an inferiority complex when it comes to us Yanks.

Why did I know you'd be a Trumpie too Lmao

I can assure you me and literally no other Chelsea fan will be following the career of Pulisic or remembering him at all here, the biggest contribution of his career is the rabid fanbase that pretend he's some kind of special talent despite all evidence to the contrary.

I simply want the best for Chelsea and having a ridiculous number of people from a particular country criticise the manager and the club because their untalented countryman isn't good enough does nothing but create more pushback against Christian.  People like you have failed him.

Lets play a game - If Pulisic does join United How long do you think it will be till yanks start blaming Ten Haag and Manchester United because Pulisic can't start ahead of Rashford/Sancho/Elanga/Martial etc? I'm guessing November.

Spot on Loz. We are backing TT in our transfer we are told. Well TT clearly does not want or rate Pulisic so just sell him and let him progress in his career FFS.

Dude, you can't go twenty minutes without posting about Pulisic.  You would be as butthurt as they come, and you would spend the majority of your tiny existence following everything MU just so you could post about CP. Everyone here knows that. And what is absolutely laughable is it seems as if CP is going to be leaving Chelsea with exactly the same amount of goals scored this season as your boys Havertz, Mount and Starling - combined. Americans will move on from Chelsea because, to them, they don't give a sh*t about your club. But dolts like you will never, ever stop following someone like CP who you are totally obsessed with with every fiber of your being. Sad.

Someone tell me this doesn't read like a Trump tweet.

United is that desperate they are linked with just about everyone, tomorrow the rumour will be Neymar and Giroud. I don't see us selling to United, already got rid of Werner and CHO on loan soon, no chances we get better replacement with 2 weeks left in the window.

Speak for yourself. I have been a fan since Jose Mourinho's first spell with the club . Peter kenyon did a good job of Marketing Chelsea in America hence why we always seemed to come to America for Pre season . There are many Americans who supported Chelsea before Pulisic joined and many others will join after Pulisic leaves especially with Boehly in charge.

Wherever he ends up going, I truly hope it's not MU.

That's probably the worse club situation, currently, that he could get himself into.

I reckon a move to Porto or Benfica would be ideal for his development. They tend to help players develop their technique.

I should have said most. I became a Chelsea fan because of guys like John Terry and Didier Drogba. But 99% of Americans have never heard of Todd Boehy. To think he is going to have any affect on the American audience is asinine. While there are the occasional American Chelsea fans who will follow the Blues sans Pulisic, most will merely shift their allegiance to his new club. Period. In fact, if Pulisic ends up leaving, suffice it to say most Americans will be rooting against Chelsea. Us American Chelsea fans pre-Pulisic are definitely in the minority.

You are right because l didn't even know who boehly was until Putin decided to f**k our club but the point I was trying to make was that Boehly will try to raise the profile of Chelsea in America just the way Peter Kenyon did.

We will definitely lose some fans if pulisic leaves  especially with the American media finding a way to blame Chelsea for not playing him more even though Odoi and Ziyech are in the same predicament.

Remember,  Pulisic has always been the whipping boy. Guys like Ziyech, Werner and Havertz have sh*t the bed just as much with more playing time. This year, Mount has been arguably the worst starter after two games. Starling will not have the offensive success he enjoyed at MC because Tuchel's offense is pure crap - and we will wait and see how quickly Chelsea fans start turning on him, if they do at all. So far after two games, no goals from any attacking players. Both Havertz and Starling missed sitters that Chelsea fans would have cut off Pulisic's balls for if it had been him.

Our system doesn’t just suit him.. I don’t think all players thrive in a fluid system.. pulisic had his best moment under Lamps when he played 70% of the time on LW .. under TT he has played less than 30% there ( real stats) . No wonder he has gotten worse with his numbers.
