It's not Roman's club to sell anymore. This was already messy, now I don't know how to describe it.

Story breaking that Abramovich is being sanctioned by HM Government.  Sale may be called off. Freeze of assets would be bad for the club.

It sure as hell won't.

This will be a protracted process either way but all our income channels have been closed. Even if we could we won't afford to renew any contracts.

worrying, but let's see what changes. They've only just announced this, they could change the terms of it in the future, e.g. allowing us to sell tickets, merch, players, etc...

We're f**ked. No tickets, no merchandise, I'm betting you won't even be able to get a beer on match day, no one can put money in to sustain the club, can't even take out emergency loans. Unless there's a mechanism to allow the sale of the club under these conditions we'll be in administration in days.

Only chance is going to court or FIFA/UEFA.

Long time no see as it were (long story and now's not the time or place).

Just a quick message to say I can imagine what this morning's news means to you all.  Anyone with half a brain knows that the events in Russia are not a reflection on the club nor the fans, or the owner.  Personally, I'm very sorry you are in this situation - you're a great bunch - and hope it'll soon be resolved.  You'll defo get through the situation, even though things seem bad now, so hang in there.
