These fines are so recurring that it’s like they consider them a cost of doing business. Be nice to be out of these headlines for one year

We can use Maresca's compensation to pay the fine.

I realize it's still early in the transfer window but the haggling over pennies in the deals over a 100 year old Xhaka and a 28 year old Spanish fullback no one heard prior to being linked to CFC makes me think it's more of the same bullsh*t with this lot. The only reason they signed Palestra relatively quick is because due to his age and their evaluation he's your typical Blue Co signing, a young player with big potential upside, hence a "valuable asset" they can sell for profit at some point down the road.

Nothing's changed. They'll sell Enzo if the offer is big enough and whoever replaces him will be a downgrade because they can't offer neither the competitive wages nor European football to a potential new signing. Can't believe I'm looking at f**king Spurs showing real ambition and upgrading their team by spending on quality while we continue to embarrass ourselves.

Thanks for cheering me up after a trip to the dentist.

We still have to be mindful of the 24/25 UEFa settlement where we are restricted to not exceeding our 24/25 A list costs. I know we aren’t in UEFa competitions but they will be a factor if we qualify during the next season.

As for Spurs do they have European competition next season and when did they ever offer higher wages?

We have to continue to abide by UEFA rules even though we are not in any European competitions....

"Chelsea must continue to comply with the Uefa regulations even though they do not have European football next season. This is part of the agreement reached with Uefa last summer."

Yep and the biggest restriction, as @terraloon points out, is that "List A" cost which effectively makes us 1-out, 1-in. The wages and amortisation cost of the squad must be less than or equal to this season's.

recognising the significant leadership role he has played in shaping and overseeing the club’s youth development programme since joining in 2024.

Anyone have any idea what alleged role he’s played besides Shields’ frat brother?

Have we even had any youth development since 2024? Maybe he's the man behind the masterful handling of Washington.

Well, i have adopted a data driven approach like these pioneers and have come up with the following

Cucurella gone, Santos moving to United in it's final stages, Chalobah likely leaving, Enzo wants out, Gusto (?). The players that we should have been looking to sell first before anybody else at the club doesn't have any serious links out of the club. Tosin, Badiashile, Jackson, Guiu, Jorgensen, Delap, Sarr, Garnacho, nobody wants these players.

There is no point asking for patience because I'm not having any of it. They had to move fast after the sh*t that happened last season and they've done f**k all but sell regular starters and squad players and sign one kid off the back of one good season. Tottenham finished 17th and instantly got moving, our lot is struggling to sign a 34 year old Granit Xhaka and it's gone silent on the Lacroix links.

I am seeing no links at all to any decent attackers. The squad is getting worse by the week.

I hate these useless bastards. They've destroyed this club.

I dare them to fumble to Lacroix deal or to not bring in a top CM. I dare them.

Protests will be 10x fold this season compared to last.

I think the cancelled protest when Alonso was announced was a mistake.

Just like the CWC win, they took it as a sign that everything is going according to plan and will only make them double down on their stance.

My brothers are United fans, I have seen this same situation play out with them multiple times over the years. Owners do something sh*t, fans react, then the PR statement comes out, fans cool down again. Our fans are falling into the same traps.

If you could promise that would happen, then I would hope they have the worst window of their time here.

Yeah the above is what will happen. BlueCo are PR masters and the majority lap it up time and again.
