Dippers deserved to win but Gazzaniga was keeping everything out and if Son scored instead of hitting the bar I think they could've nicked it. Dele Alli though, f**king shocking lack of involvement and they're going to struggle to move him on. The end of Spurs is nigh

the last I check it was Jets 7-13 sackinville, but The Jets were in the Red Zone - a TD & an extra point would have put The Jets into the lead

Nah if only it was still that close, sadly it's 22-7 now !

:rant:I just now seen this play - sorry that shouldn't be a foul on Aurier - he was playing the ball & Mane stuck a leg in there - I remember a few years back same play happened to Torres & the ref said 'play on'

That's appalling ... blatant cheating from Mane ... what's the point of VAR if it allows crap like that ?

this one is just as bad

did mane get carded for simulation?

The worst was Firmino diving just before Henderson scored.

again, I didn't watch the match - do you have a video of the play? if not, then I guess I will take your word for it - I had no desire to watch the dirty red scousers get paraded around as Champions before Xmas

Liverpool players dive all the time, but don’t get pulled up for it by referees or VAR, and never get stick from the pundits.

If the diving doesn’t work then the media don’t mention it, if does work then their strikers are being ‘clever’ for winning penalties.

It's no wonder all their ex players slag them off all the time.

It’s also no surprise the ones that cross over between our clubs feel a stronger affiliation to Chelsea.

I saw an interview with Dermot Gallagher after the Arsenal game and he said VAR is being constantly modified from what they are learning from previous games, there's going to be a load of inconsistency and confusion throughout the season and I'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing, Callum gets booked for hands in the back in our last game but next time Mane does the same thing it might be a pen and they benefit from it.
There's also the fact that you changed one rule and might break another, quick changes every 2 weeks might not be as well thought out as doing it over the off season and then briefing clubs on what the hard rules are.

Petit didn't - he wished he went to manure instead?

Just seen Zaha's penalty decision that was initially given as a dive...why was I not surprised to see martin Atkinson as the referee getting the decision badly wrong in the first place - that despite having a birds eye view of the challenge...how this guy still gets put in charge of pl games is a mystery...

How's that not a red card?? He literally rugby tackled him.

Yes I had to laugh when I saw that challenge, with the Red shirt on I was taken back to watching Wales take on South Africa.

I don;t think Guendouzi was the last man or are you suggesting it should have been a Red for the nature of the challenge?

The nature of the challenge, Zaha would've most likely been through on goal to but with it being in his own half there's no garauntee.

That challenge though was ridiculous, not even attempting to get the ball. It reminded of what Rooney did before years ago at United when he tried to make a tactical foul but instead just booted a player so hard they had to go to the floor, and he was shocked how he got a red card for it. This is pretty similar, obviously not as malicious but there's no way Guendouzi was going for the ball.

He booked Guendouzi for this, the only other option was a Red and it was certainly a blatant professional foul.

Crunch match for Arsenal if they lost Palace jump them in the League and they were at home!

The only factor that stops it from being DOGSO is that he's deep in his own half, but I don't think that's a hard rule. VAR should have got involved for a potential red card, to me it looks like the ref just didn't want to give it as it was clear to everyone that Zaha was going to run through and be 1 on 1 with the keeper
