That's how much a player gets fined every time they're late, not a cumulative total so far. Just goes to show how much money these players are actually on.

7/12 are for lateness issues, ...in London 

People keep forgetting that it's the variable fees that might hurt! Let's assume a meeting can go on for an hour, missing the whole session would add up to £30K!

Some players might view this as dictatorial and lose patience with Frank, especially if they pick up a hefty one. I'd be interested to know if other clubs took such a hard line.

Would be a better idea to make the fines proportional. £20k to Kepa and he wouldn't even blink, £20k to Reece James and he's skint for the week.

All clubs do this.  Also, the fines usually go back to the players at the end of the year via a holiday, presents for the families, etc etc.

Seems relatively fair and normal to me.

It’s international week, aka slow news week, so a couple of stories about Chelsea is the the norm.

If this club fine list story and CHO to Real Madrid is the best the media can come up, we must be doing OK at the moment.
