June 8, 20233 yr Somehow managed to mess up early negotiations with Rice. We made a late move for Mac Allister but it was rejected. There any legitimacy to these reports or more random fabrication for clicks because its Chelsea?

Its literally now just a copy and paste by any reporter/social media f**kwit as they know it gets clicks, and unfortunately loads of Chelsea fans seem to want to believe any old sh*te nowadays.

Think if we want Caicedo this works in our favor as Arsenal need 3-4 other signings on top of Rice and United aren't prioritizing him. But surely, wading in with a mega bid for Caceido at the same time that we are failing to generate the cash in time to cover our FFP shortfall, will surely be seen by the authorities as a clear snub to the rules and wou;d surely bring a heavier ultimate sanction/penalty down on the club. Granted employing both Potter and Frank has had a similar effect to a 10 -15 points deduction, but surely we shoud be trying to make good this deficit before plunging once more into the market.

Caicedo is too expensive imo, based on how much we have spent already. If we struggle to sell them Pochettino will just have to work with what we have no and see what he can do.
June 8, 20233 yr Anything further on RLC and Milan post the Maldini sacking? Gossip here, for what it's worth, is that more than one Milan player is seriously p*ssed off over the sacking.

Some sources are claiming June 30th is a 'soft deadline'. This could very well mean the club could be allowed a few weeks after June 30th to get it done for that fiscal year. Given there seems to be no internal rush to offload these players I reckon it may be the case. Just have to wait and see.

It should be United throwing ridiculous money to try and take one of our best players, not them haggling down a 50mill price. F that. Show some balls owners!
June 12, 20233 yr Be interesting to know how our people f**ked up the Rice deal. What they did which annoyed his family so much. Seems very unprofessional.

He wants Champions League football and I've questioned the actual interest for Rice from the club's side for a while. Seems like he's always been a choice, but not the preferred one. I also won't believe anything written about us seriously. So easily to do so right now and get clicks.

If he's that short-sighted to base his decision on what could ultimately be six games (possibly not even against any elite opposition) then I'm even more cold on him than I already was.
June 12, 20233 yr Rice goes to Arsenal, Jorginho may as well head back to Italy. Edited June 12, 20233 yr by just
June 12, 20233 yr If Arsenal is willing to pay 100M, not much point for us to get involved in another bid war just for the sake of it. I don't see them buying Caicedo and Rice in the same window, so we just target him if we somehow work out the finance.
June 13, 20233 yr With Mbappe possibly being sold this window I’d be looking at Madrid if we are goi g to spend anything like £80 million on Caecido. Madrid will be in for him no doubt and they’ve already spunked north of £80 - £115 million on Bellingham. Camavinga, or Tchouameni might be available for similar money. I’d have either instead of Caecido Mind you, we are looking for a decent striker too. If only……

I think the Club, has probably the same reservations as most of us about Rice, due to the £100m + price tag that West Ham are determined to get. I think both Arsenal and Chelsea see him at around the £80m mark and the car crash negotiations with Mount's father/team will not have helped either.

June 14, 20233 yr Would be funny if Arsenal managed to get Caicedo for a cheaper price then leave his arse at Spam. 92m is crazy for someone that ticks a few boxes
