Why aren't we interested? He's the best role model for the likes of Gilmour to learn from and while he's the same age as Jorginho,  he's twice the player.

Top class player, not sure if we need another midfielder but he's the proper midfielder that Barcelona used to build back in the days.

Probably because we are too inflated in that area. We would need someone to take on the likes of Barkley, Jorginho and Bakayoko before looking to add to it. We still have Gilmour, Kante, RLC and Koavic too.

Yup, we have too many midfielders. With Havertz coming in, we’d have to sell 2 or 3 midfielders to fit Thiago in. We don’t even know if we can sell the players for a decent fee this year, it’s just not possible.

I’d love to have him.

His piece of play before the goal is exactly why i keep banging on about why we need a deep playmaker type infront of the back four. The goal doesn't happen without his pass.

Bakayoko is supposedly close to joining Milan. I'm sure if we were to put Jorginho and Barkley up for sale, there'll be clubs interested in buying them. The question is, why stick with mediocrity if a truly world class player is available?

If this is a modest fee and our problem is the number of players then sell Barkley and Jorginho on the cheap. 10m each. You'd get a club take Barkley for 10m surely

He would go out on loan. So with a buy clause. But didn't they already had that last time without them willing to buy him? 
So we won't be earning much on him. 
I hope we can sell Jorginho or barkley, but I think it looks a bit unlikely tbh.

I think that the Bayern machine is always moving and evolving. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if Thiago and David Alaba have been told that they can't be guaranteed the same amount of football next season

Maybe so. Alaba I can understand as they have quite a few options for CB but their midfield isn't exactly Bayern's strongest point

Maybe the £200k per week isn't enough.

Looks like his move to Liverpool is stranding.

Available for 30 million euros and want to play in the PL. Surely the club should consider getting him? The price isn't bad and he'd strengthen us immensely.

Perhaps Marina might be already working on this. What a fantastic player he is.

I cant see him picking Arsenal.....Liverpool obviously makes sense for him.......but Frank seems to have some  serious stardust player pulling power...... and I cant imagine if you're looking for an exciting project to join instead of an reigning champion's squad that you're going to find a better ticket these days than CFC.

He'd be worth getting rid of a few for..... question is would he be worth taking a bit of a haircut on some players' fees just to free up funds.

 

unpopular question...would it be worth putting Jorginho & Kante on the market to get him if that's what it took, and he wanted to come?

Shame though because he could be the defensive midfielder that meets all our requirements, whereas Jorginho still seems to polarize opinion. 

His transfer fee will be far more inviting than his wages which I'd expect to be astronomical. Very good player who will improve any team.

That's quite an understatement. Jorginho isn't even close, Thiago is the same type of a player, but on a different level. And his quality of passing we haven't had since Cesc left.

In this climate. It is pretty hard. However I think Thiago is world class. Where ever he ends up will be strengthened massively.

Yes, I know, times have certainly changed. I can't believe only two years ago we spent on Jorginho twice of what Thiago Alcantara is now going for.
