Atletico failed to win another game and their 10 point lead melted to 1 against Real and 2 against Barcelona

They've lost it, they aren't winning the league now. It's between Barcelona and Real Madrid at this point. I think Real will take it, they are a much better drilled team and they can grind results out better than Barcelona if they need to.

I don't follow Spanish football yet looks like Zidane has turned them around?

That's incredible. That must be up there with the highest in history I imagine.

Guess Solskjaer have instilled some of that comeback-mentality you guys had under Ferguson.

Haven't checked, but it's gotta be up there somewhere... and as we seem to start games it might be more once the season is over 🤣

Why worrying. Better to finish well then start well and drop points like we did vs Saints and West Brom

Of course... but as a fan watching us ALWAYS concede and have that uphill battle every f*cking game is so annoying. Especially when you face teams that defend with all 11 players and their grandmas even if it's in the 2nd minute...

Least you have reason to believe you will turn it around. We do the opposite, throw away points from winning positions and trust me that is way more annoying.

The game against WestHam will be a play off for the fourth spot, it's almost no way back if we lose. It's about time referee start dishing out yellows for players rolling around after minimal or no contact, if Son didn't lie on the floor for 3 minutes pretending he got eye poked ( or worse), there would be no need to go for VAR. Surprised Son actually faced up the media post game, must be nobody in that team wanted to do an interview. Should be an interesting end of season at Spurs, Kane, Alli or even Son will all want out, Levy could demand 150M all he wanted, nobody will pay for that and he's got unsettled start players roaming in the dressing room.

OGS has 3 childreen. and a squad full of cheating dirty bastards. well, there goes the perception of a healhty warm father figure right out of the window or shall I say out of the doungeon

Spuds are the ultimate team in that department, no doubt. but these words from Ole are like really wtf are you on moron.

Having watched that a couple of times it looked like Son had played for that foul, his move towards McTominnay was so sleight that it couldn't be called a pull yet it got the reaction Son exploited.

Rashford was also looking for a freekick / penalty just a few minutes before and gave the lino a right earful when he did not get it.

Both teams deserve each other though Utd are clearly developing into a stronger side, scoring some good goals.

Not concerned with Everton. They are not in the top 4 chase imo.

They seem to have ran out of steam. Calvert-Lewin's goals have dried up a bit as well which isn't helping them. He's only scored 4 this year.

I've just been reading about the League Cup final allowing 8000 spectators, 2000 fans of each of the finalists and 4000 local residents and NHS workers.

I also noted that City have said

Quote

Manchester City, who are the EFL Cup holders after beating Aston Villa 2-1 win in last season's final, have said 1,750 tickets will be available to fans who live in Greater Manchester and the immediate surrounding areas, with the remaining 250 on sale to fans in London and south-east England.

That's quite interesting. I know there a bit of banter handed out about supporting your local club and all that, but this is the first time I've seen a club saying if you don't live near the stadium you're not a proper fan (or something of that essence). Surely statistically, if Man City are this last bastion of having real proper local fans, then you'd think they wouldn't even need to impose this restriction as all their fans live in Manchester (well, mainly Stockport). And their restriction is tough on someone who lives in neither Manchester or London and the south east. So bollocks to any City fan living in say Birmingham.

I wonder if this geographical allocating of tickets might catch on?

Bayern must really despise International break now. They were on course to win everything all over again, then the Internationals broke down Ledwandoski, got knocked out of the CL and the title race is open again. Still, European champion without a second choice striker, is going to haunt them some stage

Oh, boohoo! f**k Bayern.

I hope not, unless for Chelsea London is a very big metropolis with a pond in it called the North Sea :shok:

It is hard to find 2nd choice striker for Lewandowski though.

I really don't care whether son embellish Mctominay contact. What ole said was absolutely ridiculous from team who has Bruno. The guy dive all the time, he got penalty last year by stamping on other player feet and rolled around like he was the one who got stomped.

Here is a question that has never been able to be answered over the years and i have the answer 100%

Q....why are there more Manchester United fans in Manchester than man city fans ?

A .....all throu the years when little Jonny or little Billy or whatever little kids went out to play outside in the Manchester area ,said kids would allways leave the house with this warning from their parents ringing in their ears `` little Jonny ,little Billy make sure that you keep well away from that main Road ``

Real Madrid's bus attacked, apparently the window where Zidane was situated had something launched at it resulting in it being smashed.

Welcome to Anfield.
