I have only followed since min 50' and Real Madrid could have scored a few more. Then Marcelo, Isco coming on from the bench... They are going to be a tough team in the CL given that we have a very healthy advantage over Porto.

We badly need West Ham to win today. A Leicester win would be a disaster.

The vaguest inkling of an idea that I might want Tottenham not to lose (try as I might I can’t bring myself to say a particular word beginning with “w” in relation the the scum from N17) leaves the nastiest imaginable taste in my mouth and an indescribably ‘orrible sickness in my stomach.

Off to order super-strength Listerine and a dose of extra-strong stomach settler.

I think we don’t want a West Ham win. Unfortunately with Liverpool coming back into form, It’s put a lot of pressure on that 4th spot. A draw would probably be ideal followed by a Man United v Spurs win.

Ignore me - for some reason I could have sworn West Ham were playing Tottenham today. But anyway, to a slightly lesser extent, the same applies to the former denizens of the Boleyn Ground.

Hardly back in form, scraped a win against a Villa second team.

Think I want two draws from today’s ‘top 4 rival’ games. Still have some optimistic hope of catching teams above us.
just annoying how we are clearly one of the best 4 teams in the country now - that is when we bother to turn up (West Brom was a disgrace) - but Tuchel is having to make up so much lost ground from earlier in the season that it’s going to be touch and go until the end.

Goddamn Lingard again, what the hell is going on.

He is dragging them into Europe. Makes you wonder why they didn’t loan out Greenwood instead.

Nah we need as many teams dragged in as possible. Hopefully this possibility will be over in a few days but I'm still classing top 4 as top 3 until the unthinkable Liverpool/Arsenal European double is out of the question and then there's also the possibility of Liverpool suddenly remembering they're defending Champions and going on a run that sees them pull away.

We need Leicester firmly dragged in especially with Brendan"s record at crunch time.

Lets hope it stays 1-0.

As it stands:

1 point behind west ham (we can finish above them)

3 points behind Leicester (we can catch and finish above them on goal difference)

Currently actually 2pts behind Leicester with both of these teams still left to play this season.

So if this result stayed the same, 3rd place would be in our hands.

(Have to beat City away and both these teams though)
