Tony Kroos is still a world class player, him and Modric showed why their team could win 3 times in a row some years back... Real probably thought that at this point they would be a scary team with Hazard and Benzema but Vinicius Junior scoring twice shows that they can rely on their younger players as well in the biggest matches.

If we pass Porto it will be an interesting tie because if Kante is fit by then, together with Mount and Kovacic we could try to contain the trio of Kroos-Casemiro-Modric and then it's anyone's game.

We can take that Real side I have no doubt about it.

Just have to get past Porto first, which is no easy task.

OH, and needless to say: Real better not bottle it.

What, like we took it to WBA

HALF-TIME: Manchester City 1-0 Borussia Dortmund

Manchester City in front at half time but there's been plenty of controversy. City were given a penalty after a foul from Emre Can but the referee was instructed to go and review the decision on the monitor and he overturned the call.

Bellingham then had the ball in the net but the referee had already blown for a foul on Ederson, however, replays appeared to show the Dortmund man won the ball cleanly.

That was pathetic from the ref. If it's a foul, VAR would have overturned it, he took the decision away from VAR by blowing his whistle. He shouldn't be officiating at this level with such a basic error.

Just waiting for the next week of hearing how Liverpool will be at a disadvantage with no Anfield crowd for the 2nd leg.

Because they are the only club in world football playing in a empty stadium.

At least they get to play it in their own empty stadium...

Another classic from Klopp, Can somebody update the Liverpool loss excuse archive:

"This here tonight was really strange because it was a difficult situation in the stadium, but Anfield is at least a proper stadium and that will be good for us."

He couldn't have picked a worse time to use this excuse, especially when every stadium is pretty much the same now without the fans.

I have come to the conclusion that the Portuguese are the biggest cheats in football. The amount of play acting is worse than anywhere else. Bruno Fernandes threw himself to the floor like he had been stabbed in the eye last night, and Porto were throwing themselves all over the place against us and Juve.

this cheat is a heaven sent for manure. Ole said: I didn’t see a foul but I saw marks on his eye after the game. pathetic as usual

Arsenal are the most pathetic club in this country, and have the most apathetic fans. Such a nothing club now, what are they actually doing.

Feels like it won't be much longer until they are the next Newcastle.

I keep telling a friend of a friend who supports them that (literally said they're following Newcastle's 00's path and will eventually get relegated if they carry on this path) but apparently it won't happen because they're too big.

I must admit it is a lifelong dream of mine to see Arsenal get relegated.

Manchester City should be all over that. Better option than Haaland in my opinion.
