What i meant by that is like  what cfc97 said we have all these expensive attacking players and yet teams with Bamford and Antonio and Inneacho are in front of us. So you kinda expect our expensive player to put it in the net more than Bamford Antonio and Inneacho.

You would think....but we have not found a decent CF since Diego left...and none of our so called superstars can hit a barn door at the moment because we piss around in the last 3rd and would rather make 25 passes than someone taking a shot

Game over. How sad is it to be envious that West ham play better football than we do?

I guess Wolves are safe and their season is all but done so the players don't really give a toss.  Whereas WH have become a different team since they picked up a rejuvenated Lingard and Antonio has become another Lukaku.

It will be a total embarrassment for us, Arsenal and Spurs if West Ham actually end up 4th....if that is not a clear message to the Board that its not about how much money you spend, its about buying players that can play as a team and have an impact, even under an average manager like Moyes.

Mate we just got whooped by WBA managed by Big Sam. Has that not sunk in for people yet. As big as an embarrassment it would be to end up below West Ham that pails in comparission to what happened and Saturday. That was one of the most humiliating expierence in my 25 years of supporting us. Worse than being spanked by Bradford and Bournemouth.

Out of all the incredibly silly things that have happened during this pandemic, Jesse Lingard apparently turning into Ronaldinho as a late arrival to David Moyes' Champions League-chasing West Ham side ranks somewhere in the top half.

He had 0 goal in his last 2 seasons at ManU in the PL and somehow has 6 goals and 2 assists in 8 games for West Ham.

Well I think we are both in the same boat on this, supporting this club since 67 while missing a few years with Military service and emigrating, Saturday really was a sad state of affairs that surely ranks up there in terms of sh*te performances this club has ever witnessed. If we had bang average players we might not have been so mad, but even with team TT put out should have been more than enough on talent alone to have beaten them. If you have chance, go back and look at the 14 game unbeaten run, we were so lucky in many of those games especially defensively that it did nothing except paper over the cracks...a defeat like this was on the cards but I was shocked that it was WBA at home and not a higher placed team away, even though we played with 10 for most of the game.

Watching the speed and directness if teams like West ham and even west f**king brom against us then seeing us play at pedestrian pace passing it around for no f**king reason just makes me realise how tedious our football is. its just sh*t.

Maybe time for TT to earn his reputation back and switch to a back 4.

we should absolutely be embarrassed if West Ham make top four over us. £150-200m spent by us and we may finish outside top 4 or even top 6. Something is rotten with this club. We shouldn't struggle after every successful or good season like we have done in the past 5-6 seasons.

We have somehow managed over recent years to convert world class players to be bang average in their time with us and recruit nothing but fanciful players who have no blood and guts mentality....Diego / Terry and Frank exceptions rather than the rule. ....it's an art that only we can produce.

These types of results and performances have happened a few times in recent years now.

The 3-0 and 4-1 back to back defeats in Conte's second season against Bournemouth and Watford and the 1-0 defeat against City where we didn't even try to win.

Then under Sarri it was the 3-1 defeat against Tottenham, the 2-0 defeat against Arsenal and then most pathetic performances I have seen from us that ended in a 4-0 defeat to Bournemouth and a 6-0 defeat to City. The Bournemouth defeat was our worst in 23 years and then the City defeat straight after was our worst defeat since the Premier League began.

Under Lampard it was the first game of the season that ended 4-0 to Manchester United. I'm not sure I would call that one embarrassing though, I would probably put it down to a learning experience, but still, it was another heavy defeat in our recent history.

This season we have had the 3-1 defeat to Arsenal, one of the most infuriating defeats in recent times and the 5-2 defeat against West Brom.

The lack of fight and the way we just let these teams beat us is embarrassing. These types of defeats are not something we should just accept, not unless we are happy with heading towards mediocrity.

Exactly why the WBA game should not be brushed under the carpet and Roman should be venting his spleen at everyone involved.
