They seem satisfied being 10th ! i don't understand why the media are not more on their case, its freaking Arsenal!!! they should be challenging for titles (okay they are still in the hunt for the europa). The fact that teams like Leicester, West Ham and even Spurs are in front of them is incredible to me.

On another note if Arsenal win the Europa this should seriously put into question whether awarding a CL place to the winners of that tournament should be happening.

Would be wrong on so many levels if that shower end up playing in the CL.

I don't understand it either, the media carry on like he is the new Pep, only been in the job 5 minutes and is playing exciting football while blooding the youth and challenging for honours.

The reality is he's been here nearly 3 seasons, spent money, shipped out and brought in players, played a couple of promising youngsters, taken credit for a loan player that Real Madrid either want back or want serious money for and are 9th in the league!

He called the game against Liverpool 'a free hit'.

Big clubs shouldn't call matches against other big clubs a free hit.

Arteta is still the messiah as far as the media are concerned though.

I honestly don't understand it.

No fans in the stadium is letting Arteta right off the hook

Think we are done with top 4, can’t see us holding off both Liverpool & Spurs.

The period after the Everton game was supposed to be the period where we pulled away, but we have already blown it with only two of those games played. I can't see us making top 4 now, especially when you look at our last 4 games.

We looked like we had blown it the past 2 seasons but it ended up being a contest of who wanted it least. There's still 8 games to go with European games being an influence as well, still too soon to throw in the towel.

Agreed. Dont really care what our rivals do now. You cannot lose and get thrashed at home by WBA and believe you will make top 4.

Joe Linton misses an absolute sitter, should've had a hat trick today.

Spurs getting absolutely dominated by Newcastle, shows how much of a difference an elite striker can make.

Spurs in top 4 as it stands on goal difference. The draw v Leeds and loss against WBA has really hurt us - just when it looked like we were making 4th our own.

Graham Potter is such an underrated manager, Brighton are such a well drilled and organised team.

They are 1 decent striker away from being a top 10 team in the league.

Arsenal or Spurs could do a lot worse.

I keep changing my mind on him, is he another Eddie Howe or a step above him?

Like you said Brighton rarely look loss on the field and they always seem to have a good plan about the game but quality of players usually cost them games rather than tactical problems.

They don't come from behind really often if i remember correctly, i have doubt about his In-Game management and it seems to me that they are not a strong side mentally.

They play good football though.

Agree he is a decent manager, but we only tend to watch this kind of teams against the big boys when they give 200% and leave their soul on that pitch. There is a reason Brighton are so low in the table and were in the bottom 3 up until two rounds ago.

But yeah Potter is not a bad manager given the stature of the club and the limited resources. Hoping they hold on to this lead and get three wins in a row 🙂
