I expected more from Liverpool tonight. I mean, it's not as if they're up against West Brom.....

To be fair that vinicius is no callum Robinson...

Has a team that had won the prem or division one gone so far off the boil as Liverpool have todate ? My worry is lpool look sh i te tonite but iam stressing that  they might

finish above us in the prem this term after our wba performance . Just hope my stress is put to bed this weekend after 3 pts and a bag full of goals to add to the clubs

goal difference +

I can't believe that wasn't given, or even by VAR. It's as blatant as it gets.

BT didn't even review it at HT yet they had the audacity to check the nudge on Mane.

Yeah no surprise there then, BT sport is basically Liverpool TV.

Just to highlight the scouse bias; I checked sky sports to see what the score was about twenty minutes in and it reads ‘Liverpool on top against Real’.

A few minutes later my head chef says he’s bricking it because Real are all over them. Unsurprised to come back and see the current score.

HALF-TIME: Manchester City 1-0 Borussia Dortmund

Manchester City in front at half time but there's been plenty of controversy. City were given a penalty after a foul from Emre Can but the referee was instructed to go and review the decision on the monitor and he overturned the call.

Bellingham then had the ball in the net but the referee had already blown for a foul on Ederson, however, replays appeared to show the Dortmund man won the ball cleanly.

Question is when you take into account that Madrid are minus two main players tonight ,how will CFC cope against Madrid should they go throu and we beat porto ? Iam gojng for a very very low scoring 1-2 or 2-1 over the two games .

looking at how poor lpool are at defending i be much more confident to play them in next round since there will be no Anfield Roar behind them or the team. coach getting mullered .

We certainly wouldn't leave all that space behind our back line for Vinicius, Asensio and Benzema to exploit.

I'd fancy our chances against Real Madrid. They would be slight favorites but if we go beat Porto I don't see why we couldn't make it real close at least over two legs.

I can't believe people don't consider Benzema in the Haaland, Lewa and Kane debate, Benzema is unreal and hugely underrated.

His hold up and link up play is class.

Definitely underrated.

Just waiting for the next week of hearing how Liverpool will be at a disadvantage with no Anfield crowd for the 2nd leg.

Because they are the only club in world football playing in a empty stadium.
