That's an amazing result for Leeds - wouldn't have predicted that one. What a roller-coaster season they have had. Also shows why City need to spend big on a striker.

f**king Mariner left the game to go on over 6 min instead of given 3.

and f**k me Fernandinho ahould have seen red

He did let the first half go on for 5 minutes when the added time was 3 as well...

I think it was more credit to Leeds defending than to City’s lack of chances. They had quite a few shots from inside the box that Leeds defended very well by putting players close together to close the shot space. Think West Brom second goal when we had three defenders closing the shooting spaces and we just let that one in as they were all over the place. Leeds defenders closed their space well, unlike us. But I see City going for a striker, I just don’t think Kane suits their style and they’ll probably go for Haaland.

yes but there was VAR check, red and helping Sterling for brutal foul

Actually leeds tactic is suitable against team like city. Leeds love to man mark player everywhere and city like to play static football like us.

However once leeds play team like United they have massive problem.

The VAR and red were before the end of the first 45 minutes (I can’t remember the Sterling incident you mention), so maybe he should just have given 5 minutes of added time and not 3 in the first half? Why say it’s 3 and then let the game on for 5?

Leeds beating City in their situation just made our result even more embarrassing.

Leeds go up against the best team in the league away from home, get ahead before getting a man sent off, and still win 2-1.

We go a goal up against the worst side in the league at home, go a man down and then get thumped 5-2.

Jesus, my bad.

I went to see replay and the game went on after 48 minutes

With Man City losing, this will be the first time in 5 years that the league winners won't win 30+ games. This is good for the league, it's been really boring watching every team roll over for the title chasing teams.
