Rate this transfer window out of 10

If we address the keeper I'd give it a 9/10.  Without addressing the keeper, who was the worst Chelsea player I have seen in decades, I am going with 7/10.

I'm a bit skeptical (but openminded) about Chilwell but couldn't be happier with the rest.

Same here, but I think one thing for sure, is that he's certainly an upgrade on Alonso and Emerson, so I can take solace in that. Plus he is only 23, so he has time to improve his game and brings a lot of experience.

Extremely happy with the transfer window as of now, even though we've not seen one game yet, so all that could change by the end of the season. I do hope we get a competent keeper in though, once that happens I'll be very happy with the business we've done.

This window has got them 2012 vibes, when we signed Oscar, Hazard, Moses, Azpi, Marin etc.

A complete new wave of players, I'm hoping this one is a lot better though. Havertz, Werner and Ziyech do look top drawer. Even though we paid more for the other two I think Ziyech is going to really stand out, his delivery is exceptional. It wouldn't surprise me if he's fitted into a midfield role because of it.

A new keeper is a must. I hope that Mendy is not a bit of a "panic" buy. If Petr is correct and is decent, then this window is a 9/10. (not quite sure what would constitute a 10, Hazard's return maybe ??)

10/10 for me would be selling a whole load of our deadwood players like Rudiger, Zouma, Barkley, Bats, Emerson, Bakayoko and more. Then buying 1-2 more quality signings, which in a dream world would be Oblak and Gimenez both from Athletico to really make our backline formidable.

Current cirumstances though I'd still give it a solid 9/10 overall

With the first team squad, we probably still need to sell/loan one left back (Emerson, or Alonso), one centre back (could be any of the four from last year), and one midfielder (probably Barkley), just to offset the new signings, and then add a goalkeeper (Mendy) and possibly a specialist defensive midfielder (Frank favouring Declan Rice).

Then we have another 15 odd fringe players to find a new home for, either on loan or permanently. Clarke-Salter, Sarr, Drinkwater, Moses, Zappacosta, Miazga, Rahman, Bakayoko, Baker, Musonda, Gallagher, Baxter, Sterling, Castillo, McCormick,

If we can get all that done, then we're at 11/10 for me ?

We do need a goalkeeper for sure, 100% but we can always promote one of the under 9’s or get Telford over from CFCW.

Despite that weakness, it’s got to be 10/10, when you look at that the players we’ve signed/been linked to in the past it’s been insane. We’ve crushed it.

We'll have to wait and see how they turn before making that decision.

You all should have listened too me, look what all of your optimism has done to us ?

It was 9/10 on hype. I made that misjudgement.

All of our signings flopped hard bar Mendy. Mendy was decently consistent throughout

Now it's basically a 3-4/10.

Thiago Silva?

This will be interesting now...

On paper these signings looked fantastic, bargains, good quality, etc. In reality they've all been piss poor besides Mendy and Silva. Havertz and Werner have both been an absolute joke, Chilwell has been poor for a while now also. I'm not sure what's happening with Ziyech, really liked the look of him but he's also struggling lately.

Pretty grim right now. But to be honest, who is playing well this season? Really?? If your key players are barely performing, you can't expect new signings to start performing can you. Difficult to rate this transfer window right now.

That's why it's 3-4/10 and not outright 0

You said every signing flopped except for Mendy. Which is why I added Thiago Silva as he has been one of our best players so far.

Ziyech has done good too. One of the only players in the squad that has creativity and confidence to play risky through balls.

Chilwell also started well but has been very mediocre recently so not sure how to rate this transfer.

Needless to say Havertz and Werner are complete disasters so far.

Keeping in mind that we aren't functioning right as a team I would say Reece James, Zouma, Thiago Silva, Mount, CHO and Tammy all did well (or at least decent) overall.

The whole team is piss poor at the moment. Silva in actuality, unfortunately, is just above average at best in the past 9 games. He just looks better when compared to our other CBs who are average.

Ziyech's numbers are poor as well. For what he was supposed to be, is 2 goals and 4 assists in 18 games good?

Mendy was decent, Silva above average.

The transfer window is 3.5/10.
