A Topic About Refs, VAR and PGMOL.

I want to see refs with Microphones, mandatory post games interviews and a post game panel/conference, where the managers also attend and ask questions.

The drama, confrontation, transparency and more importantly, the ability for managers to be able to call out refs would be more interesting than the games themself!

The games already bloated with enough pointless bo**ocks.

I know it's not the epl but jeeeeez, 3 yrs and 7 months in a Turkish prison!

Fk it, but they should mention this on sports programmes to stop any stupid ppl getting ideas, broadcast this a bit more. I doubt the CPS would give them 3yrs and 7 months though. Lol

Yeah it definitely is a very good point, its no wonder Coote thought Klopp was a c**t when you see the way he treat him. But it was incredibly stupid and naive by him to be caught on film saying it.

But he will now be thrown to the wolves (not the club) as the majority on the media wont dare go against the liverpool lot.

I thought it was a bit of a nothing news, but it's Liverpool and beloved Klopp, sure there should be serious consequences 🤔 At the end of the day, dont insult or say outrageous things unless you are running for president or something. Fair punishment be a short ban as if he had a couple of shocking games, long term or life ban is ridiculous and way over the top. WTH want be a referee these days anyway? 😐

The whistleblowers (in this case in more ways than one) always get punished!

Absolutely- the media love in with the dippers remains.

I hate the dippers, but have respect and a little envy for the united position they take as a club.

Can you imagine what the fans and club would have done had the cucurella hair pulling happened against them, and they lost points..... and then, the var ref came out and admitted he made the wrong decision on purpose. They would have taken to the streets and that ref would never have ref'd a dippers game again.

We need a bit more of that. Stop the likes of oliver and taylor ever being able to screw us again.

That media article wasn't exactly pro Liverpool was it ?

It was all about poor ol' Coote.

This will fuel another decade of Liverpool fans' paranoid conspiracist fantasy. Thanks for that mate...

🤣 You'll never read any stuff on here about conspiracies against Chelsea!

What a banging article. Spot on.

It absolutely rips apart all the nonsense around the "revelation"

Can't understand why Coote allowed this to filmed, the rat who leaked it is despicable.

And you've got to admire Coote's professionalism, because despite what he said about Klopp and Liverpool, he's never given them a red card ( which he should have done with that disgraceful Fabinho tackle on Brighton's Ferguson at the Amex) and he's never given a penalty against them

That's what I don't get atm.

Why are the dippers saying they have been wronged when there's more proof of him giving Liverpool the benefit of doubt or maybe just doing his "professional" job regardless how much he "allegedly" hates them.

Crazy that Coote will have the book thrown at him for some (honest and agreeable) comments made whilst he’s off the clock.

Whereas Anthony Taylor is still free to go about his job when he’s the most incompetent clown about.

A fine, apology and a ban on reffing the dippers for a while would have been enough. Unfortunately the snorting white powder (could be the crushed up meds on the table and not coke) is a step too far.

Now, correct me if I am wrong, but I thought VAR was only allowed to get involved over Offsides, handball, reasons to disallow a goal, or red cards.

If that is correct then how can VAR suggest a review to give a yellow card?

They are making it up as they go along

I don't think they were. They were saying red, the ref on the field disagreed and said yellow.

Isn't that against the rules though? Should either be a red or nothing.
