We are playing well on defence not letting them create much even with all the ball but my goodness that was pathetic in the other 2/3 of the pitch, we didnt even threaten their defence, might need Giroud to hold the play or Werner if we wanna play long ball but something has to happen at half time

Is very much like the first half of the first leg, minus the moment of magic from Mount.

We created little then and the front 3 did not work. Is not working again today. They shut Havertz out then and are now and CP is losing the ball as often as Werner did.

Strong immune system by Brana. Could use his antibodies or something for further research...

I did not realize that.  I would have doubted it except for the visual evidence.  Once again though lots of nice sinewy material to chew on, especially if you catch one of those nice tendons in the upper forearm.

Scrappy game, probably suits us though. A little slicker  in our passing and the counter is continuously on.

Jorginho has been really aggresive, kante is everywhere although he still doesnt look 100%.

Keep them quite for 15 mins at the start of the half and the tie is done. They already look like they have ran outof ideas. We are our biggest threat, just dont give them encouragement.

And you know this how... Wait I don't want to know!

Poto again pressing very well, although I think that we have naively  in the first half better than in the first leg. Hopefully we can start having more control of the midfield and can get some chances to score. That would put the game to sleep for sure.

3 scrappy halves of football in this tie so far. We haven't played fluently in either match but still ahead as it stands. Fully expect Porto to come at us strong in the second half. We would take some pressure off our defense if we could score a goal on the counter.

Porto are very good at making the game like that though, high pressure, niggly fouls. If we get through this, it will be a very tricky navigated well.

Sloppy. If Porto were a bit better going forward, I feel like we would have been made to pay for it. Really need to come out more focused and energetic next half.

The on another day stuff works both ways.

If Kante's ball to Chilwell had a little less pace on it....

Kante has been too sloppy on the ball for me. His touch is a bit off and his passes aren't clean. He doesn't look comfortable passing in our own half as well. He's decent on the counter, but again, his touch has let him down in positive areas.

Can't blame him as those are not his strengths. He's not a distributor so don't be surprised when he messses up a playmaker pass.

He doesn't do necks, he prefers ears.  Something you can really sink your teeth into and chew for a while.

I think your thinking of mike tyson....Suarez doesnt discriminate where he bites.

Porto looking a different team this game having to go after a couple of goals; we've been pretty solid at the back apart from a couple of gaffes.   Unfortunately Mason can't seem to get into the game and looks a bit tired; we've wasted a couple of chances to put players through..0-0 TT will be happy but I think we need to solidify the midfield this half.  I'd take Mount off bring on Werner..drop Havertz a bit deeper.

45 to go and you can bet the next 45 Porto will poor forward, I think we should get Werner straight on the pitch at HT for Pulisic, Christian looks like he needs a rest. Werner will have sh*t loads of space and pace, lets see him rip Pepe apart.

Don’t think they can keep this pace for another 45
