I am so confused. Hungary now played against Portugal and France in front of nearly 60k people in their home stadium. Germany will play EVERY single group stage game at home. Same for England. ??? Along with the terrible refereeing this tournament more and more feels like some random preseason cup in America or Dubai to me. A total mess. Nothing makes any sense. Basically it's Hungary hosting as they will have had the most fans at the tournament.

I think we should be seriously hoping we don’t win the group. The thing is you want to get your team playing well. We certainly are not. What is worrying is that Grealish looked yesterday just like I had seen him at Villa, great at winning free-kicks yet no end product. Yet he preferred Grealish to Sancho. He must see them in training so it is concerning for us England fans. I fear he is tactically clueless after the whistle goes.

But this is UEFA we are talking about, everything they touch of late turns into a mess.
June 19, 20215 yr lol Havertz doesnt really like Pepe huh ? Also, EURO 2020 was a celebration for the anniversary of the tournament thats why theres like 5-6 hosts and they were suppose to have more but because of COVID cities who didnt agree to allow a certain amount of % in the stadium couldnt host it. Its like that every tournament guys and when is the last time the host of the tournament won the whole thing ? Sometimes you guys moan about anything. Edited June 19, 20215 yr by DidierDrogbalala
June 19, 20215 yr Portugal are an annoying team. They never really play well, they always look a bit sh*t, but they keep winning.

June 19, 20215 yr I've just now realized... Why the hell is Anthony Taylor refereeing an international match? Is he actually considered a good ref?

June 19, 20215 yr Pepe is as much of an asshole as he has always been. Portugal always seem to go into tournaments with so many unlikable players.

Bring on Portugal, France or Germany, if we lose, Southgate is out, we get a decent manager in to get the most out of this attacking talent.
June 19, 20215 yr What a turnaround ! Gosens is really impressive, Germany's best player with Kai today.

If we can get rid of Emerson and Alonso i would love if we could go for him but after spending 50 million on Chilwell last season i really doubt it happens.

However I agree let's smash the Czechs and face whoever it is.
June 19, 20215 yr Germany were really good in that half, I'm not sure about their defensive shape though. We saw how bad it is at times with Portugal's goal. If you have Havertz as your last man, then you know something ain't right.
June 19, 20215 yr Author Good game this between Portugal and Germany, three goals in the first half. They are certainly playing better than in the first game,
