Out of the big hitters this is my take so far:

• Belgium, decent prospects with KDB, Lukaku and even E.Hazard showing promise. Defensively with players like Vertonghen are unlikely to win.
• Germany, poor opener looked tired and slow and then turn up devastatingly against Portugal. Look like they have turned a corner and will take some stopping.
• France, perhaps the strongest team on paper yet were undone by hard pressing and committed defence shown by with Hungary. They have potential yet not infallible.
• Italy, looking good so far and have started well, look a very balanced team. Haven't met a decent side yet so difficult to asses objectively.
• Netherlands, top of their group and have some good players yet don't see them reaching the semis.
• Portugal, heavily beaten by Germany though have some decent players. Their defence was poor against Germany though had some quality from the bench.
• England, have been brought down to earth by a disciplined Scots performance and look like they will struggle to go further in the tournament unless Southgate makes changes or improves on pitch tactics.
• Spain, a decent side though not as strong as previous generations also look like they are struggling to find a system to play to thier players's strength.

I watched a compilation of his best moments at Chelsea the other day - I'd almost forgotten about how good he looked for the first few weeks under Conte. It says a lot that we opted for a 57-year-old and basically useless Higuain over him.

That Portugal vs Germany game was a very rare game where formation play such big factor. The weirdest part was 343 was Germany formation against France so it wasn't a surprise.

That is Ampadu's biggest weakness, he often mistimes his tackles. It's why I don't think he will make it with us.

A bit 50/50. You can see why they went red but could easily been a yellow. He was late and carried on through.

Yes, I can see why they went red, but you see stumps on ankles getting yellow cards all the time. Last night Spain’s penalty was a stump on ankle, late tackle too, and it was a yellow. There should be consistency in the rules.

Yeah agreed regarding the Welsh keeper.   Well done to Wales.

Thought Italy looked good again. 
 

Noticed Emerson was playing today for Italy.

Suspect they thought it was good to play a few squad members against Wales and also noticed Belotti.

Seeing Emerson play for the national side increases the chance of an Italian club coming in for him.

If France wins = Ngolo gets Golden Balls

If England wins = Mason gets Golden Ball

If Scotland wins = wee Billy gets Golden Ball

If Italy wins = Jorginho gets Golden Ballone

If Germany wins = Kai gets ze Guld Boll

I'm confused. If Mount and Chilwell have to isolate because they came into contact with Gilmour, shouldn't that mean the whole of the Scotland team should be isolating as well?

Hazard not himself though looks like he is going to play the full 90.

Had a couple of shots, not great yet did get the ball to Lukaku about 4 times. Though as Lukaku had his back to goal did not do anything with them.

Lukaku took his goal well from De Bruynes pass.
