If you put a cross that is going towards the byline it should be less risky to concede a counter attack.

Great match and it’s not over, you just know Don Carlo will prepare something for the next one... Vini’s run for the goal, Bernando’s goal and Benzema’s penalty was really good.

Crucially they are at home so don't have to travel back on a Wednesday night ahead of league games. 

The timing of the ties favour their league chances. As does Cities obsession with the CL.

Have to say you were spot on RMH. The first 20 - 25 minutes it was one way traffic and the tie could have been done and dusted.

Depressing the thought of City v Liverpool final. Understand me when I say I really dislike Liverpool (I really do) but part of me would prefer them to win it. City’s dominance and dodgy FFP annoys me. But the seeing Klopp and his annoying face would perhaps annoy me more. 
 

Can anyone offer some advice? These are difficult moments.

Given that its already been proven in a court of law that City faked their revenue from sponsorships since 2013, and the fact there are still dodgy sponsorship dealings and revenue unaccounted for on their books, what ever they win just genuinely seems pointless for anyone that isn't a City fan. They're cheaters saved by the statute of limitations. 

Normally I'd want City to beat Liverpool but so long as Pep is their manager I hope he never tastes European glory at City.
