We have no hope in hell to beat Liverpool. It's really up to RM to produce a moment like they did against City to have a chance.

Believing in City to beat them is one thing, they are the top 2 in the league for a reason, Believing that Real defence and Mr. Dodgey near post can stop those attackers...

I’m just hoping that Real have the spirit of 2012 in them. Not a great team but they have a killer instinct 

City have won more trophies than us domestically since the respective takeovers, even though we had a head start we’ve been less dominant and they’ve overtaken us. But…. Still no Champions league, great night for Chelsea.

Nobody should lump us in with the likes of City and PSG, we are the only ones who did not cheat FFP and of course the only ones with European cups.

I'll take our 5 FA Cups over their 6 League Cups any day. It's a bigger competition by far. They also still have a long way to go to overtake our success outside of domestic football. 2 Champions Leagues, 2 Europa Leagues a Super Cup and Club World Cup.

You can't have everything. In City's case, they perennially fail in Europe.

If City blow the league I really think Pep should resign as that would be absolutely disgraceful to be 14 points ahead and lose a CL semi to 2 goals on the final minutes.

On paper I think many thought that City would be tougher opposition for Liverpool in the final, but they seem to have a psychological block when it comes to the Champions League.

In a way tonight's result doesn't do Liverpool any favours in their quest for 4 trophies. While City may be in a state of shock, they only have the league to focus on now with no other distractions. Likewise Real have already won their domestic league and can focus on resting players in preparation for the final now. Meanwhile Liverpool likely have to keep winning every game. They may yet win all 4 but equally the whole season could come crashing down in a bad week. Hard to predict. Hopefully we can at least deny them the FA Cup.

We actually have the same number of Premier League titles currently (5), although they could go one better than us if they win it this season.

While I agree he's been a flop overall I think it's a bit harsh to single him out in this game.

He created two big chances out of thin air which required two world class interventions from Mendy and Courtois.

I told you when Madrid beat us that they must've sold their soul to the devil to conjure these comebacks and last night it happened again. There is no way in the whole wide world you comeback match after match, you've been put to the sword but still manage to find those sneaky goals to keep you in the tie and ultimately win. Simply not possible under normal circumstances. 

Pool would be delighted about getting them in the final because they know any team can beat Real over 90 minutes like we, city & psg did but nigh impossible over 2 legs.

They have done that in cl many many times. 

They won cl 3 times in a row, a feat that imo almost impossible to repeat but when you watched them you will not be impressed.
