Rom and Timo are out for a minimum of 2 games, otherwise they are both filling positive. but you never know says Thomas, just look at Pulisic, he is still out.

RLC can play further forward - he played off the left for Palace & Conte liked to use him as a false 9/10 sometimes.

He can, I just doubt TT will want to use him there when he is in the process of settling him to the deep midfield spot.

Imagine we will see a front three of Havertz Mount and CHO/Ziyech. Really hope he gives the opportunity to CHO but imagine he will roll with Ziyech. Wouldn't mind seeing RLC get a start in midfield as well.

Man, if only the academy would produce a striker that can score double digit goals in the premier league that we could've used as a backup striker...

They did, he is currently on loan at Munkworths favorite side.

Whether it was Conte & Sarri playing Eddy as a false 9 (who imo at the time was a much better attacker than anyone we have in the squad now) or TT last season (with the exception of CL final - where lbh heroic defending won the match) it’s never ever looked as good as Pep fielding no recognizable striker. So with that in mind do I get up at 4 a bleedin clock tomorrow or just watch a replay at a more civilized hour ?

Somebody persuade me please😅

In the absence of any recognised strikers, I go 4 at the back to get more offensive players on the pitch...

Mendy

James Christensen Rudiger Chilwell

Kante Kovacic RLC

CHO Mount Havertz

Must win game by 2 goal difference given all factors.

                           Mendy

           Chalobah T.Silva Rudiger

James    Jorginho  Loftus_Cheek Chilwell

               Mount           CHO

                         Havertz

I would be happy with that lineup. But I think he will play christensen & azpi

Would be so satisfying to get the 3 early points on Saturday knowing that it doesn't matter if our rivals win because we'd still be top dogs...KTBFFH!!💙

Thank you for showing a positive.

Because I f**king hate, hate, hate hate, early kick offs.  Especially when I'm going because our supporters' coach leaves at 6 o f**king clock in the f**king morning. And we get to the ground at half 10.  Which is a stupid time to be drinking (I know and I will but it's still daft).  And when to eat? Service station stop is at 9 - breakfast?  But when to have lunch?  All the timings are sh*t.

3 o'clock is the best time.  Coach leaves at 8.30/9.  Service stop at 11.30 for early lunch.  Get to pub at 1.  Eating and drinking at sensible times.  Coach back and home at 9.

Get on the coach and put your watch 2.5 hours forward, then go to sleep until you get to London for 1pm lunchtime, then when the game finishes take off the 2.5 hours and you'll be home in time to watch our 6 goals to nil on MOTD........ perfect!

Keep the noise down - some of us will still be in bed.

You better hurry up and get a job or we'll be calling you scouser.

Lukaku and Werner will be be missed, but they only scored 1 in the last 3 league games, so can't use that as an excuse. Expect a more fluent attack with the false 9 and Mount back, if we are lucky may even get Pullisic for a cameo. Need to be more direct and faster like Wednesday night, Norwich was lucky to get a clean sheet last weekend, their defence is brittle if we keep putting pressure on them.
