I would play Christenson instead of Silva  and Kovacic for Loftus cheek but otherwise that's my team.

It may sound strange given we're playing against arguably the worst team in the league at home, but I am not feeling so comfortable ahead of this one. Early kick off on Saturday after Champions League on Wednesday is never a good thing. Also, to be fair, we're not really at our best at the moment, Lukaku is out and they have literally nothing to lose. Just remember what happened against West Brom last season.

Still expecting a win but I wouldn't be surprised if it gets tough at some point. An early goal would be crucial.

Norwich are an exceptionally poor team so anything other than 3 points is simply not acceptable.

Nothing against Lukaku but i prefer our more fluid and dynamic attack without him. We are too predictable with a Focal point especially a focal point that rarely makes off the ball runs and hardly presses the defenders. ( That was something i appeciated in Diego Costa). I really wish Pulisic was healthy but if CHO doesn't take his chance now with the opening in attack then he never will.

Good to see James back, bad that Kanté isn't in the squad. Delighted to see Chalobah get another start.

 

Prediction: A lot of complaining about not moving the ball quickly/vertically enough before one of the full-backs squeaks us over the line in the second half.

And other than Christenson that is the team. its always a worry when Tuchel agrees with me. Reminds me of the groucho marx joke about I'd never belong to any club that would have me as a member

I don't know about their defense but Norwich's forward Josh Sargent is such a bad finisher that he makes Timo Werner on his worst day look absolutely clinical.  I have seen him play for the US national team.

That goal Timo had last year where the ball bounced off the crossbar and came down 2 feet from the mouth of the goal so Timo just headed it in.  Somehow Josh Sargent probably would have missed that.

Kante not on the bench has he picked up a knock ?
