Ideas aplenty, definite knowledge... I couldn't possibly tell you

Sums up the majority of the posts on this forum 😂

                         Mendy

        James.  Christensen.  Rudiger

Azpi.    Kante.     Jorginho.      Chilwell

        Mount.     Havertz.      CHO..

JAMES to play RCB instead of Azpi because Azpi can't deal with vardys pace..

I would actually prefer chalobah play RCB and James play wingback

Azpi at RWB doesn't work anymore. And there is no chance we play this without him in the back three.

Last time we experimented with Reece at RCB and Azpi at RWB we lost the cup final against the same opponent. I think there's no sense in playing Reece, who is our best player this season, out of his natural position.

Lukaku and Alonso back in training. @Argo will be so so happy lol

And @mojo you broke a run of gifs man. For...

Embarrassed Shame GIF

Also rumours are TT wants to use as many no international break players as possible. So we could see:

Mendy

Trev

AC

Rudiger (been back since the weekend)

James

RLC

Saul

Alonso

Ziyech

Lukaku

CHO

Would be only Mendy, AC, Toni and James who played in the break, and Rudi missed Germanys Sunday game so has been back since the weekend.

No issues if he's used correctly and rotated adequetely.

My main issue pre his injury is he was getting shoehorned into every situation and wasn't getting held to account for his performances the way literally every other attacking player does, even Mount (subbed at half time at Spurs).

We did the same thing with azpi and James in the league fixture 3 days later and won..

There is absolutely no way Tuchel plays Azpi at RCB against Vardys speed..

Trev can handle it I believe.

Fair points. See if he comes back to be useful again the foxes.

For me, this was probably the shortest and the most perfectly timed international break that has happened. Luckily for me, my best friends bachelor party weekend was this last weekend. So, if there ever was a weekend to not have a Chelsea match, that would be the weekend I would request.

Now, that I have recovered 75% from my international break excursions, I believe I will be in match fitness and should be ready from the start on Saturday.

I doubt Tuchel would do much rotations for this game, we get most our players back before Wednesday, same as a CL week. I expect a front 3 of Lukaku, Havertz and Mount, the backline has been steady so can't see any much changes. At this stage, Azpi stays out of the team, there are better options there.

Apparently Lukaku has been training separately but Werner with the squad. I’d have thought it would be the other way round. If Pulisic and Werner  and mount available up front all of a sudden there’s. More options.

My only slight minor picky feedback on TT is he is beyond honest with player availability in press conferences. Sure teams probably know anyway, but he essentially gives them our attacking line up based on availability comments.

Nervous for tomorrow. But then nervous every game!

Okay so Timo is back and everyone is available except Kova and Lukaku. Tielemans out for Leicester which is a slight advantage for us.

That being said, I'm expecting to see the same starting 11 that brought the European Cup where it belongs, and a strong (second half) performance.

So what I'm reading is that Lukaku is out and Werner is a game time decision.

                    Mendy

    Trev- Christiansen - Rudinger

    James - Jorgi - Kante - Chilly

          CHO             Pulisic

                  Havertz

Kind of. . .

The problem is that a lot of our options up front are also still trying to recover match fitness.   Mount hasn't played in a while.  Werner if he's available hasn't played in longer.   Pulisic has played but only off the bench, not sure if he's ready to start a match or not.

It's highly possible that Ziyech and CHO have to start although I'm being optimistic that Pulisic might be ready to start and maybe play 60 minutes

Tough game away

mendy

christensen silva rudiger

james jorginho kante chillwell

Mount Havertz CHO

bring on pulisic and Werner later on the game.

So long as Silva made it back in good time I expect TT will go with:

Mendy

Trev

Silva

Rudiger

James

Jorgi

Kante

Chilwell

Barkley

Havertz

CHO

It is a very well rested side for an international break.

Having Mount and Pullisic back will be huge, especially if Mount could start, we just looked more intense as a team when he's on the field. Leicester is a good side, but they have obvious defence issues this season that others have exploited, be disappointed if we dont score at least 2.
