They are missing at most 2, arguably 1, of their first choice back 4 (Robertson)

One midfielder who is in and out (Thiago).

And have their first choice front 3, although no subs for them. Would be better for us had the ACoN taken players now. Better to have Kepa and them lose Mane and Salah.

Only one hard to replace is Allison. We are more of less crippled. Silva is carrying injury, Kante is too, Kova is not fit, Alonso is too slow, and is almost as slow, Havertz is way short on match fitness VVD will eat him alive. 

And we have the Lukaku drama. Is a dream scenario for Pool.

I'm quite optimistic I believe this was the best front 3 we deployed last season. We scored more when these 3 played up top more often than the other variations. Lukaku offers clinical finishing, Werner blistering pace and great movement but these are not necessary when you have a fluid front 3 that can as a whole provide all of this.

I think a draw or we edge them, expect Tuchelto back the players who have delivered for him restored back to where they have played at their best under him. Pulisic in one of the inside roles preferably off the left and Kai false 9 through the middle.

It's a very good lineup under the circumstances, no excuses.

Key point there, Silva, Trev, Kante, Kovacic and Havertz are not and CP is not up to match speed for a game of this size after missing most of the season.

If this 11 were 100% fit absoutley really good side.

To be honest that’s our strongest team minus the wingbacks which I know are huge for us but we shouldn’t we a walk over. Rudi is going to have to double up on salah with Alonso that’s some mismatch

Pretty strong line up for us if everyone was 100% match fit. Unfortunately the spine of the team Silva, Kante, Havertz all falling short of that. Never want to see us lose to Liverpool but I think we're going to have a rough afternoon. Happy to be proved wrong.

Imagine moving the game because your backup forwards and one back up midfielder and defender are out and your first choice keeper and left back are when we are in this state. Would be complete lunacy.
