Sook can refer to a call for cows, an alternative spelling of "suck," or a term used in some dialects to describe a timid or whiny person.

Australian qualifies as a dialect.

Perhaps the odd Australian says something sensible, that cannot be claimed by any scouser.

It would be a very odd Australian who says something sensible.

So good to see Colwill back at the weekend. He is far & away our best centre back and just reminded us of what we have missed this season.

Hope whoever is the new coach, hands Colwill the captains armband. At least having him back, gives us a better chance in the FA Cup final on Saturday.

I still think our season goes completely differently if he had stayed fit, he hit his stride in controlling the defense as well as playing really well, he matured massively from last season. Of all the centre backs we have he was the only one we couldnt live without, and sods law he was the one that got the bad injury.

Said the very moment we heard news he tore his ACL that the season was a write off. Especially after Maresca, who begged for a new CB, was told to use his 'internal solutions'. Not in the business of defending Maresca, but it was clear to anyone who watches us just how important Colwill was for him, and the fact when he was on the pitch he made Chalobah, Fofana and Tosin better CBs in the process.

Should rightfully be our vice captain and first name on the teamsheet.

Since the season's been sh*t anyway, I really wish we'd just given Josh like 20+ games and given him a real chance at settling in and improving.

Levi and Josh together could form a dynasty for 10+ years and cost absolutely nothing but the clowns in charge would rather sign the likes of Disasi, Badiashile, Tosin, Fofana,Sarr, Anselmino etc. for £300M for some bizarre reason. The more things you look at within this club the more question marks gets raised.

The longer he was out the better he got and I was worried what kind of player we’d see when he came back.

He has everything a modern CB should and we are lucky to have him. I think a season long loan for Josh where he’ll play CB every week will give him an equal chance as Levi to make it at Chelsea.

I’d absolutely love those two to be our CB pairing for years to come but I heard a rumour Alonso wants two CBs this window so If true Josh needs a loan. He needs to play regularly next season.

I'm amazed he has come back after such a bad injury and long time out and hasn't looked like he has missed a minute. I don't think I have ever seen that from a player coming back from an ACL injury. Even Van Dijk looked awful for a year after the same injury. Maybe it's because he is playing at the end of the season against tired legs, but still, you would expect a lot of rustiness at least.

Needs proper partners at CB, and I don’t mean Chalobah. Trev should be 4th choice at best.

After the season Chalobah has had, he will be lucky if he is even here next season. All of the progress he has made has been undone by this season. He needs to prove himself all over again.

Having this guy back and hit the ground running like he has is equal to 30 million plus premium centre back signing.

A partnership with Josh would be a very strong basis to build from. It will be interesting to see how Alonso uses Josh in comparison to the previous two coaches, who seemed overly protective...

Still think he is better off being sold with a buyback clause so he can go and get regular starts somewhere else. We then buy him back in 2-3 seasons. I reckon Alonso might use a back 3; unless he is 4th choice CB at worst, he will be wasting another season here with no European football.
