Evening all. Travelling to the game and wanted to know where the Chels supporters drink/meet beforehand? I'll be meeting a mate at Waterloo and going from there around 5:30pm.

Cheers UTC

Make sure you’ve got provisions for the four day tab from and back to the nearest underground stations.

Yeah I know 🤣

Would you recommend Liverpool Street to White Hart Lane overground? Or Mainline rail from Liverpool Street to Northumberland Park?

I live in Victoria and although can go straight to Tottenham Hale, just don't fancy the walk (or nose blead in more ways than 1, it us that far North after all)

Dont we usually meet at Spoons in Liverpool St and go up in numbers?

Not a lot of interest in this game it seems. Only a short turn around between this and Citeh.

think this might be one for the counter attack squad. We are sitting on a lead and playing away they have to attack. but if we play too defensive could end up like against Citeh  early on.

so I want to play Werner, maybe havertz, Saul, Dave maybe jorginho for h1.

Hey @azpi28 could you make a comment like last time? You know it only being Spurs, does not really matter etc. That should get the thread going, or at least @just

but it was an easy game, walk in the park, easy as you like

child can do the laundry (but that's a dutch expression which is probably not translatable)

Leave City out of this. We are playing Spurs. When we want to play City, we will be ready for them, and we can even win defeat them.

We can but it's going to be a very hard task. We will be the underdogs there.

It's probably going to be a tight one. Maybe also a boring one. Honestly I can't see a way back for them, so we should concentrate on avoiding individual errors.

Also, I don't think Tuchel will rotate much here. 1-2 players is a maximum.

All the youth who have been involved with the first team played in tonight's EFL cup defeat, that is except for Hall. Think he might at least be on the bench tomorrow.

The level of assumption on here that tomorrow is a foregone conclusion is a little baffling. Yes we bossed the first leg but we still looked a little toothless in terms of putting the ball in the net which is why we go into the second leg only 2 up when it could easily have been 4 or 5. I can't see Spurs being that sh*t again. This tie is far from over.

They'll be well up for this, concede early and the tie could go pear shaped fast. Need to be steadfast and professional i.e. not concede and preferably get a couple more to calm the nerves. Surely they won't be as 2 bob at their NFL stadium as they were last week at The Bridge? (rhetorical in nature😉)

Spuds next game after this is L'arse isn't it? If so that's arguably at least as important to them as us v Citeh. Conte will have to be thinking about the two games together. Not saying he will go easy against us because that might be poor for the mentality, but it will be a factor in subs and things.

I can only see that being a factor if we manage to find ourselves with a comfortable lead on the night. At that point Conte may start thinking about the game against Arsenal. But as long as they are within a couple of goals I fully expect Spurs to fight for a place in the final. We will need to be on our game.

For sure Conte will never throw a game. If we score 2 goals in the first half as we did in the first leg he will probably set sights for the next one.

Somehow I wish this would be a game. I hope we go through but if it ends up being 60 minutes of passing the ball around it is massively boring.

Underdogs? Says who? Was it not three times we defeated these people last season? After that, you still consider yourself an underdog to them? If we were an underdog to them, then in the Champions league final, they should have defeated us to prove they are better than us.

Don't fill anybody with fear in this forum whenever we want to play City or Liverpool. We can win any team and that is why we support Chelsea.

Who says we cannot defeat a team that is richer than us? If they were richer than us, then they should have proved it by defeating us in the Champions league final.

Not expecting Kante or Silva to be risked from the start, bench at most. TT was not sure they could even be involved with training. So the majority of the side is set based on who is fit and around.

Kepa

Rudiger

Christensen

Sarr

Dave

Jorgi

Kovacic (or Saul)

Alonso

Mount

Lukaku

Werner

Only 2 I think TT will be debating on is whether to start Kova and then sub in Saul, or Kante if available, or start Saul and have a fresh Kova from the bench.

Also the third forward. I have guessed he picks Werner for chance to exploit counters at pace but really none of the other forwards being in that spot would surprise me.
