The way we play Lukaku was never gonna be the answer. He's not a good footballer but he's a goal scorer. 

The way we play we you need someone that works their arse off up front, someone better than Timo.

Honestly think Michail Antonio would have done a better job than Lukaku.

I think its more about an identity of football. City wanted to be Barca 2.0 & they put in place a system for it & now reaping the rewards for it. We've been trying to be like that since before City but end up with a circus every 2nd season. Its neither down to the manager or players alone.

Makes you wonder whether Tuchel is trying to force the board to take action and bring in some cover. Either that or he has had enough and wants out.

In my experience in supporting us since 1976, more importantly in the last 20 years when games are televised every place, what we are observing right now usually accompanies a drop in league position followed by the manager getting fired. Now it could be the unique situation the world is in with Covid and the camp upturned by the 🦠  or it could be just that such a collapse is in progress leading to the predictable outcome. I went for 1-1 in Superbru so hoping we can hold on ( hold on to Brighton 🤣)

Lukaku is getting very frustrated and  in a running battle with his marker. He might be a red card waiting to happen.

Who's playing the wrong positions? Back 4 all in their favoured positions, Hudson-Odoi and Ziyech on the wings, Lukaku striker, Mount AM, Jorginho and Kante CM.

Finally got some pace on the pitch. Shame Alonso stayed on but suppose he’s occasionally a goal threat.

We are supposed to have a world class squad...so I keep hearing anyway.  There are 2 main injuries from the first team Chillwell and James...the remainder should be able to beat a team like Brighton.  Sure Alonso and many others need to pack up their boots and f**king leave.  TT picked a team with players that were sh*te on the weekend and have been sh*te for weeks but continues to pick them; sorry but TT for a few games now seems to have lost his grip; forwards can't score, defenders can't defend and the midfield is about a creative as a 3 year old with a paint brush.

To start the game Mount was playing on the left in front of Alonso (who we all know isn't good in a back 4 anyway). Ziyech playing the right side or a middle 4 but offering no defensive coverage to help Azpilicueta. CHO was playing in a front two with Lukaku.
