The President of PSG is rumoured to be a firm favourite of our No. 9 seeing him as a logical investment due to is age and unique characteristics as a mobile CF and would be willing to stump up the cash. Chelsea might also be willing to do business if we can recoup the amount spent getting him. Personally, if PSG is willing to pay what we paid to get him, we should bite their hands off and send him packing. His gameplay is not compatible with the way Tuchel teams plays and the funds should be re- invested to purchase a better striker that really complements Tuchel's team

If these rumours are true and PSG want him, just pay the money and take him.

I agree, if we can recoup our money we should send him packing.

That's the big question, isn't it. I suspect some people would favour selling Lukaku after the recent to-do alone.

So if we were to offload him, the hunt for a new number 9 would start all over again. Håland is in all probability a non-starter; so who wasn't available last summer but is available this upcoming summer? Would that player deliver immediately or will we see another agonising striker saga? Instead of buying, would one or two of our academy players - currently on loan or at Cobham -  be able to step up to fill the void?

It's January and so far Lukaku probably hasn't brought what we wanted him to do, which is scoring the goals that last season weren't scored and cost us points. There are excuses of course: arriving not long after the Euros, so not a lot of rest, injury, and a Covid infection. He has something to prove after his PR blunder, and that on top of the many question marks, we're probably better off keeping him.

We should go for either Vlahovic or Andre Silva if Lukaku did go. We aren't getting Haaland, so we need to think outside the box.

If the club is sufficiently compensated, he can go ahead and enjoy Paris

Too good to be true that we could just move him on, get our money back, and go sign someone like Vlahovic.

Not sure about the enjoyment part. He can go ahead and move there. Not sure if I wish he enjoys it.

Would just be swapping one problem for another. He's a good player, but he causes problems everywhere he goes.

If we manage to get all/most of what we paid for Lukaku from PSG in the summer we could invest elsewhere in the team. Broja could then be integrated into the squad next season, and perhaps we pick up 1 additional, less expensive striker.

If PSG make us an offer we can't refuse, then I would give the #9 shirt to Broja

Seems like he is heading back to Inter. One of the bad buys by Maria and it seems fitting to see that she gets to correct her wrong  getting him back to Chelsea

I'd pay another club to take him off our hands.

He's that awful. Head went a long time ago and any semblance of talent soon with it.

Exactly the wrong type of player the club should have on the books.
