Just this once though, just so we can say we've won it all. Obviously the FA Cup is far superior, but it would just be nice to have the full set.

Without him it all falls on Dave and Silva to get the job done. Honestly I expect they start both games we play as we badly need them to lead us.

If opposition fans thought we were insufferable about being European champions, wait until they have to listen to us not shut up about being champions of the entire world for a whole year!

Arno Michels has a 100% winning record too I believe
February 6, 20224 yr I can see us slipping up, not only is Tuchel no there which is not ideal but if we make the final, our opponents will have an extra days rest. For the semi we have an extra days rest on our opponents but they will be in camp already and we will be travelling, as well as the fact that we just played ET. They're going to have to be really sh*t for us to breeze it and this comp is like the actual world cup for these teams so they'll be up for it too.
February 6, 20224 yr Injury update according to the club site: The only member of the 23-strong party not involved was Mason Mount. The other two players who came off yesterday with small problems, Hakim Ziyech and Cesar Azpilicueta, did take part, as did Thiago Silva and Christian Pulisic who were left out of the weekend match squad due to late returns from international duty.
February 6, 20224 yr Here's the squad, won't let me copy and paste and I'm too lazy to do it manually: https://www.chelseafc.com/en/news/2022/02/06/chelsea-squad-for-club-world-cup Reece and Kenedy are there, RLC left out. Everyone else there as expected.

February 6, 20224 yr I was thinking today about the things I care more about than the Club World Cup and listing them in order of priority. I'd got to number 356 which was 356 - finding out how Tarzan was always so well groomed And still the CWC hadn't appeared. We better not pick injuries at this waste of time money tournament.

February 6, 20224 yr I am watching the afcon and hoping it goes to penalties. I really need to see Mendy win a shootout. Lol. He can't really be that bad at penalties

Callum Robinson (who also scored against us for Sheff United) is still with the Baggies. Al-Hilal do have Matheus Pereira who was one of the better players for WBA last season and scored twice in the game at the Bridge.
