Some nice football - totally wasted chances after the goal was scored.  Should be 3 or more up.  Just wonder sometimes why we can't play like this in the league.

I wasn't too impressed by his play at the position either.  Losing Chilly really put us in a bind.

We desperately need James back. So we can move Azpi over to the left.

Great start until Lille realized they could target Alonso both when they attack and in our build up and then everything went to sh*t.

He really is that horrible is Marcos Alonso. Incredibly frustrating.

Watching Alonso is painful.. can’t think of a more limited player.

Kante is losing the ball too many times .. ziyech looks like he is tired

To be fair just to see football like this I wouldn't be too sad if they scored. Love this game. Battles in midfield, urgency, motivation. Everything a great football game has. 

Our last 10 or so games have been a waste of time.

Lille look pretty good at pressing and it’s causing us issues.

Started great, but lost control after the goal. Our midfield is being overrun, and Pulisic is certainly no Hazard when he drops deep to receive the ball, he doesn't have the strength to pick up the ball on the half way line, turn and take two players out of the game.

Please no, he is fine in defence but loses concentrations sometimes. For attack he stays too far back. 

Love the high octane football, don't care that we don't go from 0-100 in a single match after dumping Lukaku, form can take time to build. For now I'm just enjoying the game

Lukaku.

Feel Alonso just not up to it either going forward or in defence.

Renato Sanches is class. As good as Kovacic. I would like to see Kennedy. 

After 15 min it is all lille,people say they target alonso. Yes but when sanches move to the left,azpi also struggle to handle him.

Thiago dropped the line too much for my liking. It will make alonso live miserable because it will be a sprint race all night long.

Pulisic sometimes gets in good position but over dribbles often. Unlike Hazard he can't seem to finish his moves.

Different opp though, when is the last time our opp pretty much dominated us.

Lukaku may be limited but he's bloody Messi compared to Alonso.

I genuinly can't think of a worse leftback in the Roman-era. Certainly not out of those that has played a very significant amount of games.

Not sure about his defensive skills,  but Kenedy is a decent shout for LWB if we want to go more attacking.
