Agreed, did notice that too.

Horrible half, one of the worst I have seen all season. We don't play 90 minutes of football, we spend the first 30 minutes warming up before slightly upping the tempo for the final 15 minutes without actually creating anything.

That was a really poor half by us. Too many flaky performers starting today and a midfield three that just hasn’t worked. 

Impotent in attack and unable to play with the ball in feet from Mendy...same old same old.

Better in the last 10 or 15 mins, so would wait until 55/60 mins until making changes. Corners have been really disappointing.

Normally after playing for the national sides the first game back is a bit awkward / sluggish.

Now for TT to work his magic during the break.

Park the bus? They do press us very high.. But agreed, they play extremely well imho, well structured team that (my assumption) had two weeks to prepare while we...didn't. Think we can turn it around though second half. Lukaku for Werner and Kova for RLC (maybe Kanté if we want to spare him a bit for Lille).

 

Werner on the flank is just totally wasted. Maybe a prime Chillwell could compensate but not Alonso.
