May 7, 20224 yr I wondered about this match before ko. Wolves have under performed this season but play can good counterattacking football. No pressure for them and off to us the European champions who are under performing with half their first team likely to leave. Then we have the unenforced changes. Difficult to read as many more chances we could have scored, Wolves wasted chances too and then more subs that did not help. Even though Leeds on paper should be more difficult being a relegation battle we might just get a result there.
May 7, 20224 yr I am still fuming that we just can’t make tactical fouls when oposition is counter attacking. Both goals could have been prevented that way. But no just let them play. It all comes down how much you want to win and these droes just don’t give a flying f**k anymore. Thomas is also on another planet lately. The subs and timing are just ludicrus. May 7, 20224 yr I am actually out for the weekend with a Wolves fan, even when we went 2-0 up, I said have no fear atm we have the wherewithal to salvage a draw, but at 96 minutes, a just won corner, i foolishly thought job done…….how very f**king wrong, blames with you TT sort it, a sacking trend is being shown…
May 7, 20224 yr I just don't know what TT was thinking. You waste a sub bringing on Saul. Why? Was Alonso injured? If so fair enough but otherwise why? Dave was ripped apart by them in the first half, James was rubbish at wingback so he swaps their positions and they are still rubbish. He brings on Sarr rather than Chalobah, who actually is physical presence. He takes off Rom, another who can defend set pieces, for Havertz who blows are last chance then does a sh*t job of keeping the ball in the corner. It was a disaster class of subs. Add to that he leaves on Timo and CP who could not play a decent ball through all game, who messed up move after move. The defense was Brentford levels of bad again, Brentford would have beaten us AGAIN Today, and offensively Timo and CP let us down badly,Rom took his chances and probably would had more if either of those two were not so selfish and sh*t with their passes. Disgraceful performance from a lot of the team. Rudiger looked like Lampard Rudi again, James was awful as well. Wolves like United had nothing to play for and we looked like neither did we.
May 7, 20224 yr Maybe Chalobah banged TT’s wife and that’s the reason for the divorce? Nothing else makes sense as to why he gets no playing time.
May 7, 20224 yr I hope Boehly has some people who understand football around him. Maybe if we blow top 4 it will finally show all the major problems we have and not paper over the cracks. Cause we have seen ample evidence of the money wasted on poor quality footballers and those with cr@p mentalities. Also those that are mentally checked out too.

The Axman sums it up perfectly. At 2-0 and with Wolves playing without any expectation of success, It was the proverbial walk in the park. But then TT makes what appeared to be tactical rather than forced substitutions, and oh what a f**k up. He couldn't have got it more wrong. Is this becoming far too regular? REALLY poor use of his subs. If a group of aged 60+ fans in the East Upper and an entire carriage on the District line to Wimbledon, could see where things were going wrong and the changes that might have been useful in fixing it, why oh why did TT do the opposite? I suppose he will play the injuries, rotation, Leeds on Wednesday and Cup Final coming up cards, but he has literally snatched a draw from the claws of victory !!! As I type, Spurs have gone 1-0 up at Anfield. Do TT and the players not realise that we already have a fight on our hands to retain top 4 to make the Champions League places, without needing to continually give the other contenders so many leg ups ??
May 7, 20224 yr Also I meant to add, Who, in the Police control room's bright idea was it to let Wolves fans, behaving as if they had just won the f**king Champions League out of the Shed End at PRECISELY the same time as the East Stand and the MH fans exiting at the Shed gate. The stewards looked shocked and a bit panicked, the Police, as usual did nothing, just let Wolves fans sing "Chelsea Rent boys" and 2-0 and you f**ked it up, all the way to Fulham Broadway. Surprised there wasn't more trouble and again I think that this was due to the mood of Chelsea fans, following our capitulation to a really poor team (again !!)

Top 4 should be ours but our form and performances are shocking of late. Haven't looked the same since Juventus at home, and that's when Chilwell got injured. oh dear - Spuds got a point..

Agree on everything there mate, but Wolves are actually fighting for an Europa place, so they're still up to a good fight and they showed it. Still doesn't exempt us from that dismantling display though 😰

May 7, 20224 yr Oh and for those that say "you don't get those calls at Anfield, Old Trafford, the Ethitad or Stamford Bridge" kindly watch this game and take us off that list. This ref went all out to help Wolves. How does 5 minutes of VAR check to rightly disallow RLC goal make 3 minutes added on, and yet a quicker check for our pen makes 6 minutes? Werners disallowed goal, several yellow cards not given to Wolves, including Saiss who should have been off for deliberately tripping Lukaku on the pen.

I think you are being generous to Wolves. They came into this game in probably their worst form of the season, and still left with a point. A couple of months ago they looked like contenders for 4th but they have dropped away badly the last month. They might still get Europa Conference League spot but only because West Ham are equally in freefall.
May 7, 20224 yr As it stands we need 4 points for 4th and that is only if Spurs win out from here. We ought to manage that although the team may yet surprise me. If we manage to lose to Leeds in midweek then the pressure will mount. In that scenario we may find ourselves in 5th before we play again.

I am talking about the present, and Henderson at this point of time, is more consistent than Mount and if Mount was in Liverpool - I seriously doubt Henderson will be benched. Henderson just has that experience Mount doesn’t. You are not making sense, it's like comparing hazard to Silva...two different players in different positions... The point is Mount whilst he can be inconsistent he is by far our most productive forward this season...yes he has a long way to go to become a complete player, but he's our player and works his socks off every game and is improving year on year...Mount is not in Liverpool, he's here...too many people want to pick the bones out of our players on here instead of getting behind the team and supporting them. he's young, give the kid a break and support him!!

Also at the end Haveetz was winding the clock down at the corner and the ball clearly went off the wolves player but the ref wanted to give wolves one last chance which they took advantage of

Ah no, I only meant they still had something to play for so it made sense to see them going for blood till the last second, different than United who were just cruising thinking they were already in the Europa League and now can mathematically be out of Europe at all.

It's going to be embarrassing. Remind me what happened the match after these two again.

At least for 10 years, they are not allowed to collect dividends. So at least until then, Boehly-Clearlake are not Glazers.
