De Lijt shouldn't affect Colwill as De Lijt you imagine will play in the centre of a three if that is formation we use or as RCB. Also De Lijt is unique. He his head and shoulders above any CB his age group. At same age as Colwill he was leading Ajax out and dominating games against world class opposition and is a goal threat too. Colwill is still untried at his level. De Lijt according to reports struggled initially then improved second half of season. Either way, I am all for going for this transfer.

His name is De Ligt, not De Lijt. Not that it matters if he doesn't sign for us

22 years old, 164 professional starts between Ajax and Juventus, 16 goals (1 in 10, defender goals make a difference), 38 intl caps - that's not the stats of a YouTube product player.  Three managers in Italy has not helped, but the man is captain material everywhere he played.

My concerns would be doesn't play his best on left side of defence (but was there to accommodate Bonucci), and is slow on the turn (that could be a real problem in PL where we play quite high.  To me he would be the successor to Silva in back 3, or the RCB in a back four. 

Doesn't jeopardize Colwill's progression - there is room for both.

Still though if he turns us down Juve will be happy enough with that offer if it is real. That covers Koulibaly and Bremer and that is their goal.

They could, but reports suggest Juve will accept the highest bidder or the closest to their valuation of 120m. Meaning De Ligt prefers both options.

There is an article on Newsnow I read earlier today that insists we've already agreed a salary with Koulibaly LOL.

Oh yes they will accept the highest. Say we offer 90mill and Bayern 75mill. They accept ours De Ligt turns us down says he wants Bayern, then Juve have to accept the 75mill offer as they don't want to keep him and need the money.

There isn't anything confirming De Ligt prefers Bayern over us though that isn't coming out of Germany?

Romano, Jacobs, Pedulla, and Di Marzio are saying De Ligt is open to a move to Chelsea. Its a matter of who offers Juve the best bid along with who ever offers De Ligt the better contract. Something we have the upper hand in both. 

Pedulla changed his tune today saying he wants Bayern.
