Last 2 weeks the geniuses have been telling us how much we've bid, our wage offers, he definitely wants to come/stay. Its all made up nonsense.

That is journalists for you of every kind. 100% BS and occasionally, like the blind squirell, they find a nut.

Tbf mate I can understand the frustration, as it stands all we can really do is just provide updates as they come. There's a lot of people on twitter that just regurgitate the same information non-stop. Whereas, there are some reporters or trusted posters on twitter, you just have to try and stay on the right side of that site. Aside from that there's there's a lot of trolls and random haters/toxic posters. On the transfer front Chelsea have finally started moving seriously, Sterling should be all wrapped up and MDL we are just awaiting Juve's answer. I suspect we may need to add a little more but, I'm optimistic from what I've heard. Once those deals are done I think everyone will feel more optimistic about this window and what's still ahead.

July 2, 20224 yr Currently as things stand De Ligt at only 22 years old is the highest earner at Juventus… and they are about to unleash #Pogba into their wage structure! Talk has been about how this is been a problem since day 1 in Turin, especially as he’s not performing consistently enough to justify the wages let alone a better package on renewal. They are claiming PSG & Bayern are also interest and posting all the links on their forum but it’s delusion as we all know we’re in a much better position than those clubs, who either have priorities elsewhere or can’t afford him. Matt Law says we’re in talks and we’ll even get him for less than they paid, which was £67.5m. His number 4 shirt is available, we need the height, we need the leadership, Ajax coaches declared him “biologically matured at age 14” leader of men (literally) as a kid who should have been in the U15’s playing in the U19’s. Natural RCB who’s been pushed left for Bonucci, good in the air, excellent passer confident pushing into midfield, reads the game, [insert any defensive quality].. you name it, and under Tuchel (after what he did for Rudiger and co) it’s one of those transfers that will feel like a robbery if we can pull it off, Juventus is a sporting mess under Agnelli, Nedved and co.

July 3, 20224 yr “Chelsea making progress on Matthijs de Ligt. Juve prefer straight-cash deal. They remain interested in Jorginho but he’s not currently part of any bid being prepared. #CFC pushing on de Ligt after Juve softened a bit on price. Clubs still apart on all-in price so add ons key. Told Chelsea are hoping to pay £60-65 million. Juventus trying for closer to 70 and other interest (and there is some) may mean they hold out for 75. But that’s still progress from when talks first started and the fear on price was 80+. De Ligt very open to the move.” @Ben Jacobs

July 4, 20224 yr The "home page" of my Microsoft Edge browser, which clearly tracks the fact that I regularly click on Chelsea related stories, has no less than SIX different stories about the club trying to sell or buy players on that page alone. Most of these "scoops" are 2 to 3 weeks weeks old and incorrect (we are still trying to sign Richarlison and Raphinha) So the adage seems to be, if there is no up to date news, just recycle the old news. I said elsewhere on this site I was sick of keep looking at my phone for updates on our transfer activity. It was rightly pointed out - that I should stop looking then, - and I have. I am literally ignoring anything until I see the heading "XXXXXXXX signs for Chelsea" on the Shed End forum 🙂
July 4, 20224 yr Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest anymore. Not confident in our operations what so ever.

July 4, 20224 yr 19 minutes ago, Cap said: Off to Bayern? Rumour to make us get in to gear? Bayern don't often pay such fees and wages. As I have said before Juventus are desperate to sell him as his wages and transfer fee alone will more than cover Koulibaly and Bremer. Edited July 4, 20224 yr by axman2526
