Those wanting Potter out, who’d you bring? If it’s that Spud reject who managed to lose the French league with PSG, I’m not in.

We’re playing sh*t, Potter looks out of his depth, but this group of players is weak physically and mentally. This group of players have been struggling to perform consistently for a few seasons now. Yesterday’s goal is just an example of how weak they are. Change Potter and we’ll still struggle to win games.

Zidane or if you want to go the football hipster route, Bielsa

No to Biesla that's kamikaze football.

I'd take kamikaze football over yesterdays showing. Since Bielsa wont get the blame either because "it's not his players" why shouldn't we go for someone who wants his players to run and show grit

Sorry, Zidane is very unlikely but Bielsa is suicidal. I’ve seen his football since his time at Athletic Bilbao and the teams are ran to the ground by half season.

He's a carbon copy of Conte methods wise. Football they are planets apart, but tactical/fitness wise they are on the same planet,

Ok, so you'd take lethargic weak football over that?

Unlikely or not you asked who I'd bring. I never said it wasn't tough getting them

I want Potter to stay but I have a sneaky suspicion that if we get battered by City in the two occasions we meet the next few days, I will wake up the next morning seeing he's been sacked.

Zero chance.. he won’t be sacked. You can bet the house on it.

Bielsa's football isn't sustainable either. Players get sick of his methods after a season or two.

And you think our players won't get sick of Potter's methods in the next 10 games if we are still in this downward spiral?

Luis Enrique

make everyone able to pass 1000 times under any kind of pressure and retrieve possession as soon as we lost it, given it a year or two at least we can find another manager that can actually win some trophies for us.

Now the team is both mentally, physically and technically weak as F

To be fair think this is what these groups of players need, they are far too comfortable and lazy. Was thinking about City and Utd teams and their late comebacks in games which we don’t do, I reckon it’s all down to their ridiculous fitness levels which is a byproduct of the work they did during preseason. Conte had Spurs players running sprints of 42 lengths of the pitch in 30 degrees heat daily. I wonder what Tuchel had them doing during preseason because they all look unfit.

Nope, but Bielsa is similar to Lampard, run crazy and no structure. He also picks fights with everyone and his methods are exhausting physically but also mentally. I want our players to be physically and stronger, but Bielsa takes to the point of leaving players exhausted midway through season. I don’t think that’s good or better than Potter.

No, no. Bollox to the 1000 passes we have done that already. What about Sean Dyche?

Has lots of EPL experience. Always has the respect of the players. Granted, probably because he looks like he might kick their f**kin heads in the minute they step out of line but that is probably something we need a bit of right now. Would Jorginho swerve out of a 50-50 tackle with Dyche on the sideline? Would Aubameyang wander about half-arsed not closing down defenders? Not on your nelly mate. And another plus is his TV interviews. Even the reporters are sh*t scared of him too.

Sean Dyche it is then.

I agree but Bielsas methods are way too extreme.

But we'd be playing a type of football and we'd have players who leave it all out on the field.

I'd take that and a fiery passionate manager over this. I want to have fun watching football again.

if that happened I will try my best to go to the Bridge and put banners up and call both the board and Potter out

I dont mind if a plane is needed either

Didn't we come 10th the year before Conte.

Not sure when you became a fan - but I remember old division 2 days, and scraps down the bottom half of div 1/EPL.

The self entitlement about what we "deserve" is a problem with a lot of fans.

I would love us to be winning, and up the top of the table challenging, but more than that, I want to see players play with a bit of effort, desire and love for the shirt.

Very few are doing that recently. Azpi does, Timo did, silva does (more out of professional pride probably), mason tries, - the rest don't seem to give a sh*t.

I remember the Hoddle years as being some of the best I'd seen in 10 years and I think we had 2 11ths and a 14th.

The problem is, Zidane had prime Benzema, a still bloody good Ronaldo, and a Bale. Not to mention Modric, Kroos in midfield. Zidane isn't doing much with this squad. It's a sad state of affairs, but we simply cannot fix this at the click of fingers. It's going to take a a couple of summer windows and a overhaul, a proper overhaul, not a half assed one. Boehly has only just started getting together his board team. He also needs time to understand the issues.

Where would you take the plane to? I mean where would you like to go if you could go anywhere? The Bahamas? Biarritz? Machu Picchu? Tottenham?

Wherever it is, (hopefully somewhere far, far, away), I sure we could have a whip round on the Shed End forum and rustle up the money to get you there.
