For a back post overload shouldn't first of all Chilwell make a better attempt than his weak powder puff token of a challenge, but shouldn't one of the recovering midfielders make to the back post to support Chilwell in defending that zone. IMO T.Silva/Chalobah were very much late there.

Possibly even the first part of that Scott as well. With 6 minutes of injury time and 3 minutes of normal time remaining why change our approach at all. The tactics should have remained until the last 2 mins, not trying to close out for a whole 6 minutes, especially in a game where you haven't had a cohesive period of play that has lasted 6 minutes

October 22, 20223 yr Third shi**y performance in a row. There is no way we will stay in top four. Pity.

October 22, 20223 yr Does someone have the view from directly across the goal line? Oh, the post above mine has it, looks like 2 cm past the goal line for a legit goal Edited October 22, 20223 yr by Phillip
October 22, 20223 yr We are not going to beat any of the traditional "big 6" at home this season are we? Last season we managed to beat Spurs but drew with United and Pool of lost to City and Arsenal. A terrible return. Now we have draws against Spurs and United that we LET SLIP! In the dying embers and still have Pool, City and Arsenal to come. oh dear...
October 22, 20223 yr Coming back from the game and I’m gutted for two reasons. First, we were dreadful in the first half and, although we improved in the second, we did not play very well. Second, because how on earth can we let them equalise with a couple of minutes to go? Happened against Spurs, West Ham (overturned by var), and today when Manure were crap. Can we f**king learn to kill a game? I’m not going into players here, but will leave you with a nice image.

Good point, but for a bogus VAR call West Ham would have done it to. Our home used to be a fortress, now we are a soft touch.

October 22, 20223 yr I don't blame Kepa on the goal. He made a very good reaction attempt to make the save and got fingertips too it. Was a very good header that they got lucky with, a CM lower and that hits the post and comes out. I blame the poor set piece defending again!

October 22, 20223 yr hahahahaha can't stop laughing about this really cheers me up after that awful equaliser look at the faces in the crowd hahahaha Edited October 22, 20223 yr by azpi28
October 22, 20223 yr We didn’t deserve to win that. Created nothing and got a fortunate penalty. Then threw it away with poor defending. Reece James is clearly a big miss. But Potter is struggling to find a way round this. Potter needs to get his starting line up right from the off. Two games in a row now he’s had to correct things after we’ve been outplayed first half. We looked better once Kovacic came on. Pulisic can count himself unlucky not to be starting ahead of Sterling. Loftus Cheek is getting a run of games and finally proving he’s not good enough. Aubameyang has looked toothless without James to feed him crosses. Best we can hope for is to still be in contention for top four by January and look at a couple of signings and pray James is fit again.
October 22, 20223 yr Reminds me of that Darren Fletcher goal that defeated us 1-0 many moons ago. He kind of lobbed it over Cech for a goal , like what Casemiro did. Lots of lucky in doing that.
